I think I'll e-mail the 80's group coordinator and ask if they do any of the hair bands (ie cool, non-gay bands).

Sorry, I was just kidding. I am kinda bummed right now. I wish I had someone to go to this stuff with and I thought this meet-up group would be it. I guess I'm realizing that it might not be what I was expecting.
