Someone upstairs has one of those nutcrackers. And has it prominently displayed for anyone that walks by. But I find people here to be sexist.

That was a news article about the people protesting the racism of that monkey product.  So you're making my point for me - that we don't tolerate racism.  Where is the article about people protesting the nutcracker doll?

I am making my statements in reference to the user agreement (among other things):

which spells out the racism part, but leaves sexism, one supposes to "otherwise objectionable material"

My point was - wouldn't we have deleted a thread that asked the same question with regards to a race of people?

We did have a Deputy Cheif that was female. And my boss (nice boss) is a female captain. So there are females in the higher ranks. But the DC really screwed up. It is alleged that she had an affair with one of the married guys. Now if she had been a he would it have been overlooked? *shrugs*

OK, I cave in and concur with Nomo, now. She just made the case in a way I can not argue or deny. :)

... yes, I'd say if dcy had posted his post as "Are black men even worth listening to" with a similair themed rant, than we'd probably have deleted on site, yeah...
