Afternoon all!  interesting subject, as to dcys thread, (which we all know was in jest), and wether it should have rightly been tolerated, or treated differently than if it would have been a rant against a minority, you also do have to look at the context and social morays of the forum it is in.  We are divided and differentiated by this website (albeit voluntarily) by our gender. if you dont believe me look at the little pink or blue people next to your name.  notice there is no deliniation of race in there.

Hooli's avatar could definitely be construed as sexist ... however, I identify as a pretty hardcore feminist, and it doesn't offend me.  :-)  The sort of feminist who gets upset over little things like that (actually ... it's not all that little ... which one can see with its position next to the dime!) is the sort of feminist who has nothing better to do than get angry at the world. 

IMHO, anyway.  :-D
