Goodmorning Min.  How are you today?

Good thanks.. my mum just rang to tell me we are going to Turkey on the 9th September woop! And all i have to pay for is the parking and my spending money (which i shouldn't need much of as we're going all inclusive!)

Flying! Turkey is erm... 4 hour flight and they are 2 hours ahead time wise.

It's scheduled for this Saturday, though I'm really not sure now.

I was showing him other posts on this site by a girl who was justifying eating meat because "God put animals on the earth to be eaten".  And thusly, he began looking for my username, and found the post.

There was some stuff said that upset him, like my saying that if I happened to change when I get older I would find someone else.  Honestly, he is a really great guy and knows a lot about me that I would never share with other people and vice versa.

Haven't talked to him since Tuesday evening. =/

Morning all!  Min, sounds like it's to be a great trip.  :o)  A very good pal of mine just got back from Turkey and Greece and she's ready to go back.  Loved the food and the sights!

I've not been to Turkey, been to Greece though - lovely place.

Well, i can understand him being upset i mean maybe he's looking/thinking this might be it, and you're saying you might go find someone else.

Men have more fragile egos than women, regardless of what they say, IMHO. 

You know, i think you're right. Especially as in this world now they aren't high status like they were.. women are doing just as well (if not better) and at the same jobs. So they need to find their ego somewhere

Well, I think it might be for the best.  Min & Kallie- she is like 16 and he is like 24.  They are meeting on the internet.  I just don't think its a good/safe idea.

That really wasn't what I was implying though.  There had been some posts about how I was too young and had so much more to live for and how being with him might limit my opportunities or affect my aspirations in life.  In reality, I know that he would never make me do anything I wouldn't want to do and/or prohibit me from doing anything (unless it were dangerous, of course).

I totally understand his being upset, but it was just that he didn't really let me explain anything and just took everything I said to be what I actually thought.  I really just wanted to delete the post after people began pointing out the age difference because I knew it would cause a huge ruckus, but I didn't know how.

Ah well, that scares me a bit.  We just had a case here where an internet meeting resulted in the girl being killed when she wouldn't sleep with him.  Not trying to scare anyone, but you need to be sure you are safe. 

I'm not even awake yet and we're already to 16 messages.

I know he'll come around; he always does.  He said it wasn't even that he was upset/angry with me, just saddened by the whole situation.
