Dear Lord, help me to slow down enough to embrace the friendships you have placed in my life. And if I am lacking true friends, please open my eyes to those in front of me who would be just that. Not only may I find true friends, Lord, but make me one as well. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Lord, I thank You that You know every step of my journey, even before I take it. Help me to chart Your course, not my course, and give me the courage to walk it out, day by day. ~Amen
Lord, I thank You that You know every step of my journey, even before I take it. Help me to chart Your course, not my course, and give me the courage to walk it out, day by day. I also ask for guidance from You. I need to know Your opinion. Give me vision and clarity and help me implement the plan that You have for me. Father, I don't want my eating habits to be chaotic. I need structure and order in this area. Help me move forward with Your plan in mind. ~Amen
Father, thank You for bringing people into my life who can support my decision to be healthy. I pray that You would cause people to understand Your plan for my life so that they can support my decision to get in shape. Thank you,Lord, for sending people to minister to me during this crucial time. ~Amen
Father, I know that with Your help I will never be tempted beyond that which I'm able to resist. Help me to resist giving in to an overabundance of poor food choices. Help me overcome my addictions, I pray. I give those things over to You, Lord. ~Amen
Father, I thank You that I am capable of change, with Your help. Change me on the inside first, Lord. Lord, then help me do what You would have me do to change the outside. Remind me daily that what's on the inside matters more than what's on the outside. ~Amen
Lord, I ask You to renew my mind today. Keep thoughts of You front and center and help me to remain focused. Give me wisdom to know what to do to maintain clarity of thought for the journey ahead. ~Amen
Lord, I want to be optimistic., but I need to make sure my positive attitude is rooted in the right kind of faith, not in my own strength. May I always recognize that every good thing comes from You, including all my accomplishments along the way. ~Amen
Lord, I confess that I often give in to my rumbling stomach and eat too much, too fast. Help me to train myself to wait on true hunger and to eat only the foods that will truly satisfy. ~Amen
Thank you , Lord, for bringing joy into our life. You've replaced the pain with an abounding peace and we are so thankful. You're such a gracious God, to give us such good gifts. Keep our heart "light" and our spirit full. ~Amen

Lord, help me through the "not so pretty" times. Remind me of the progress I've made and encourage me to keep going, no matter what. And when I'm down, please remind me that sometimes the "frogs" of life turn out to be princes. ~Amen
"For this reason I also suffer these things, but I am not ashamed for I know whom I have believe and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day." II Timothy 1:12 (NAS)
Oh Lord, I am so grateful. Grateful for Your grace and Your goodness. Grateful for Your wisdom and direction. Grateful for the changes I've seen in my life, which I know come as a result of following You. Thank You for leading me in Your ways. I give myself over to Your plan for my life, my health, and my future. ~Amen
"In their hunger you gave them bread from heaven and in their thirst you brought them water from the rock; you told them to go in and take possession of the land you had sworn with uplifted hand to give them." Nehemiah 9:15 (NIV)
Dear Lord, Help me to trust in You even as my fears are realized. Help me to hear Your voice telling me that You are with me, and that I don't need to be afraid. Help me to feel your nearness. Most of all, Lord, help me to see Your purpose for me even as I am walking through trials.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father, Only You know the desperation I feel right now. Only You see the troubles that weigh me down. I confess that I don't have the strength or wisdom to find an answer. However, I trust that You are already planning my deliverance. I trust in Your perfect timing. Please show me what to do next, and direct me to the source of help. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for first loving me, and for showing me what love truly is. I'm so grateful You invited me to be Yours. Like a bouquet of exquisite roses in a simple earthen vase, I treasure Your presence in this "jar of clay." May others see You displayed in me this Valentine's, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
Lord, help me to remove the words "I give up!" from my vocabulary. You never gave up on me, Father, and I shouldn't give up on myself either. When I fail, and I know I will, please lift my eyes to You and give me hope for a new day. ~Amen
Dear Lord, sometimes my stress feels so heavy I think I can't go on. I have no breath or life left in me. But Your Word says that You make me lie down in green pastures. And Your goodness and love will follow after me. Oh, how Your Word refreshes my soul and renews my spirit. Be my strength; be my rest; be my ever-present help under pressure. With You, I can make it through. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Lord, I'm so grateful for all You've taught me in the past few months. I wholeheartedly, give myself to You. I recognize that this body isn't mine; it's Yours. Thank You for entrusting it to me. I'm going to do my best to care for it as I continue on my journey toward good health. ~Amen

Please help me to be a person that pleases You with my every thought, word and deed. I admit my dependence on You Lord, and ask for Your guidance. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Lord Jesus, You are the Carpenter. You know exactly how to build a piece that will withstand pressure and stress, a work of art that will not easily crumble. You created me the same way. Rather than tremble in the face of despair, help me trust in Your design. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Dear Lord, help me to honor my husband, son and friends with my words, my deeds and my thoughts. Help me to realize that my words matter. I can choose to build them up or tear them down. Help me to choose to build them up and give me the strength to do so. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
