your opinion on love..
"it is better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all."
do you agree or disagree with this statement? why or why not?
i'm still on the fence..
If you have loved then what is it exactly that you have lost?

Interesting point. I guess some people seem to put some sort of ownership on love, so when it goes they feel cheated since they have put some time & effort into the relationship and some how deserve to keep it & have it when they want it. Unfortunately it doesn't always workout that way since people really only live in themselves and things change.
Blah, blah, blah...I don't really know what I'm saying
, but I try to view love as something that a person is willing to share with you at a specific time. Love isn't something you can put in a box & lock it away. We all have our part to do in a relationship to keep it alive, but there are just no guarantees with anything. Well except the usual two things in life.
I loved, and now that its gone im losing weight and my mind.

same. though im over eating so I hope I dont lose weight : / Also, I never really used my mind.. my heart always did the thinking for me (and now its in pieces). But someone will come and glue it back togather..... in time.... =)
Every moment that I have spent with my husband making a life with him has been worth it all, and I wouldn't give up a single second with him for anything.

I am currently in the most serious relationship I've ever been in, we are engaged and very much in love.
Now that I am with my fiance, the past "loves" seem like a joke. I've never been in love before, but I didn't realize it until now.
However, if I were to lose my fiance (it's painful to even think about) for whatever reason, I know this much: He has tought me how to trust, how to give, how to love and how to share. He has shown me that I am a good person and that doubting myself is not healthy. He has made me feel more beautiful, confident and wanted than I ever thought possible. Thanks to him I know what it feels like to have a fairytale romance, and I don't think I could ever settle for less again.
All in all, I'd rather have those memories, lessons and feelings stay with me through a lifetime rather then wish they had never happened.
That being said - I never want to lose him ![]()

But you will...either by death or a break up. It's inevitable.
Having loved and "lost" has made me much, much more appreciative of the love I have today. It sucks to have your heart broken - of course - no matter how the breaking occurs. But the true joy of being in love is incredible. It's a bond like no other. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
