That's only 800 calories.... that's not enough.  You should eat 1200 to make sure you're getting all of your nutrition and keep your metabolism healthy.

I'm sorry to hear about your stepfather.... sometimes things happen and we go over, and that's okay.  Just get back on the boat.  I think you should eat on the low end of your usual range (1200) and maybe go for a walk or do some extra of your usual workout if you're really concerned about that one day of extra calories.

First of all don't sweat going over your normal allowance by 300 calories. Just call it a maintenance day and move on.

Second of all, your daily menu today is only 800 calories. That is way to little. If you are trying to make up for yesterday please don't. Eating to little to compensate for the day before isn't a good idea because your body needs more than that and if you're anything like me you are more likely to binge after eating that few calories. Also I noticed you are eating more processed food and empty calories than natural foods. Why not add some fruits and veggies in there? Maybe some more protein too?

First of all, 1700 is not a ton. Second, don't eat less than 1200, no matter what happened yesterday.

Third, your step-dad just died. Take care of yourself, your mom, and any siblings. I am very sorry for your loss, and I think that it is extremely reasonable for you to be concentrating on your family now, not the particulars of your diet. It actually worries me a little that your diet is more of a concern than dealing with all of the emotions your step-dad's funeral must be causing. My dad died several years ago, and I can't imagine spending that week worrying that I wasn't going to have a large enough caloric deficit.

If your dieting caloric intake is 1200-1400, then your MAINTAINING caloric intake is probably around 1700 anyway. So that one day spike isn't going to hurt you -- it's just what your body would want to maintain its current weight. There's no reason to eat way fewer calories today to make up for it -- just go back to your usual 1200-1400. But similarly, one day of undereating (like that list you've made) isn't going to do you any damage, either -- just don't make a habit of it!
