What an Opportunity!!!:)

I am posting this here because no matter what the circumstance, it is God at work and praise in action!!!

John 9:1-3 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.  And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?  Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

When Jesus' disciples saw the man  ( a grown man) who was born  (not yesterday or a few months ago) but a grown man who was born blind, the first thing that cam to mind was that this man or parents had to have done something that caused him to be blind.  This was not something that just happened, it was something that he had carried around with him many many years through to his adulthood.

The first thing Jesus' disciples thought was that he or his parents had to have done something wrong that he would be cursed to be born without the ability to see.  Job went through the same thing, when he lost everything, his "friends" were there to "aid" and "encourage" him.  There thoughts were that Job had to have done something wrong in order to be going through such a rough time in his life all at once.  His wife, wanted Job to just give up and die.

Even we, when we fall into hard times, some of us stop and question, what did I do, in spite of knowing we have done all God has asked us to and required of us.  We even may have slipped a little and asked God to forgive us and He has but we think even that could have been a cause for our present state.

The question was who sinned. When something goes wrong the thought is "well, what did you do?"  That is a normal reaction physical reaction to which we do not understand in the spiritual realm.

Jesus' reply, Neither one has sinned.  The mother, father or the blind man, (he that was born blind) have done nothing wrong.  This has been done that God may be made manifest in him.  This was done that God could work through him.

This        ; was        done        ;  that        ;     God        could     manifest      & nbsp; Himself      in        the          blind      &nbs p;       man.

Then Jesus spit on ground and made a spittle of clay anointed the mans eyes, told him to go wash his eyes and then he was able to see.

What an opportunity we have as we gone through the many adversaries of life.  Not that we are being punished, not that we have done something wrong, or someone in our family has done something wrong, but that God is about to do something great in our lives that He may be glorified.  When God is glorified blessings fall on those whom He manifests Himself in or those He chooses to use.

The blind man did not recieve his sight as a youth, but when he was grown.  His parents did not recieve the benefits of his blessing while he was young, but they were able to benefit from it when he became of age.  Jesus' timing was and is perfect.  Though it may appear be some suffering and it may appear to be a long long time, we are reminded in the bible

Hebrews 10:37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

Habakkuk 2:3 "For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay"

While this is talking about the second coming of Christ, we to can apply this to the very things in our lives that seem to be a weight that is holding us down.  He that will come will come-

The purpose of your very suffering may be that God is about to show up in your life and do something new that you will not be able to hold you peace.  He may be about to do a new thing in your life that others will not be able to doubt that it was done by Him.  So I say what an opportunity.  That God would chose us to manifest himself in.

No matter what natural thing or normal thing you are going through, Our supernatural God, who is the creator with His Son Jesus who is the Author and Finisher of our faith, knows exactly what you need and when to give it to you.  So I would say just start praising God for what He is ABOUT TO DO on your behalf without doubt and see if you will not receive your blessing.  IN GOD'S TIMING.

What an opportunity to give God praises while others think you shouldn't.  When they ask, you can tell them, I know what God is about to do in my life.  Oh you can't see it, but I feel it and I know that my God can do anything but fail, if I believe.  You can tell them to keep watching how God is working, then invite them to join you where God is working.

What an oppotunity, that God chose you-so just give God praise and move out of His way.

Mark
