I'm feeling out of sorts today; not in a good mood.  Just want to say morning and go.  I need to get back to work and get some stuff off my desk.  I'm taking tomorrow off from work, but I haven't decided what I'm going to do first on my long to-do list.  Laters.  :/

Oh yeah, just what I needed.  It's 33F. out this morning.  COLD to me, we were in the 80's last week.

I like that it was cool enough this morning that I could wear my new favorite jacket for the 1st time. :D

I sure could use one of those today.  If the air conditioner crazies get loose this winter I may have to invest in one of those.  My office is a free standing building inside of the building.  We don't have the circulation that the rest of the plant has and we run the air year around for ventilation.  They usually freeze me to death.

I hate cold work places. At one job it was always so cold in the winter that I'd have to wear a thick sweater or my coat.

You know... I keep thinking of the inherent sexism of the following thought: it would be bad if Biden beat up too much on Palin tonight.

Why? Because she's a girl?

We don't have the "A/C crazies" issue, but this is a steel building, with what I'm sure is the bare minimum of insulation, and cheap, industrial carpeting over concrete floors.  It always feels like a basement in here in the winter.

 Because the audience is sexist.  Although the debate should be a debate out and out, the problem is that the audience's perception of Biden beating up on a girl would be damaging to Obama.

Bush Sr. got into a little trouble with Ferraro that way, but Reagan still won the election.  Go figure.
