I got inspired by the Subway and Mc Donalds thread. So here we go, what do you eat at Wendys :)

I personally always thought of Wendys as being the most healthy next to Subway. To me they just have more of a variety.

Before I turned into a vegetarian (well pescatarian) I would normally get the grilled or spicy chicken go wrap with no sauce, a baked potatoe (sometimes with cheese and broccoli), and a diet coke. Thats on the days when I was "dieting". But on those days when Im out with my friends and either drunk or influenced by their bad habits I get a Spicy chicken sandwich with cheese, fries, a coke, and a frosty (this too was before I turned pescatarian).

NOW- I just order a broccoli and cheese baked potatoe and a diet coke.

So what do you usually order?

Mandarin chicken salad - use the almonds, lose the noodles. Ask for a light dressing and use only half of that. It should come in around 300 calories.

The large chili is 280 - and yummy.

i've never been to wendy's.

same as you...or a mandarin chicken salad with no chicken. i've been a vegetarian for half my life with the occasional seafood. or a frosty when i'm being indulgent. I also like their strawberry yogurt with granola, mandarin orange fruit cups, and any salad they have. baked potatoes are yummy with the broccoli and cheese like you said. you might think it's strange..but i like my salads warm...so instead of the chicken i'll ask for a side of the broccoli and cheese to top my salad...yummy.

 Its about 320 if Im not mistaken. Whats wrong with it if its all Im eating at lunch?

I LOVE Wendy's - I don't "do" fast food - but Wendys......the OLD me....

 Haha that actually sounds yummy.  I think Ill try that next time I go to wendys XD

mmmm Wendys.... :P When I go there now, and I am trying not to cheat, I get their South West Taco Salad. BUT I don't use the dressing, sourcream or little doritos that they give you. The salad is yummie with just the chilly. Sorry if this does not help you, if you don't eat meat. Good luck

I love their chili!  I always get the small and a side salad and dump the chili on the salad...kind of makes it like a taco salad minus all the cheese and chips.  It's so good...

When I want to be bad, I love the spicy chicken combo with just kethup or the junior bacon cheeseburger sans mayo!

Nothing anymore - they all closed in my area (or if there are any left, I don't know about them).

Before I started eating healthy, and they disappeared, I liked to get a small fries, a small frosty, and dip the fries in the frosty.

I liked their chili too.

I get the taco salad too, no dressing, no chips, and I DO use the sour cream (mmm.... it's only 50 cals, I figure if that's the WORST I do at Wendy's, I'm doin ok lol)

Okay ... the fries I sneak from the hub.  I get a side sald and jr. hamburg.  Chili on occasion.  When dieting, I got the grilled chicken manadarin salad.  But, the fries, I cannot order - I love them too much to stop!  The swap of the hand of my hubs is great : )

Grilled Chicken Sandwich w/ No Sauce (I keep a bottle of Tabasco in my car), 280 calories. (320 w/ Honey Mustard, subtract 40 according to .pdf)

Plain Baked Potato with Chives, 283 calories OR one small chili, 227 calories.

I also like the grilled chicken go-wraps without sauce. 114 calories each.

 

Usually I get the baked potato.  I don't use the sour cream, and about half the butter.  That will be lunch for me.  One of these days I'm going to get a frosty.  Umm.  For now it's just water, since I'm not fond of diet soda or tea.

I get a small chili and plain baked potato, then dump the chili on the potato - very yummy!

I order a grilled chicken sandwich w/o sauce, side salad with ranch or italian dressing (depends on my calorie goal for the day), and a sweet tea or water.  Its really good and filling.

I haven't had Wendy's in like a year but, I remember I ALWAYS use to get the 5 piece chicken nuggets with large fries and a diet coke. I miss those fast food everyday days.

i'm not a fan of wendy's. their burgers have always looked grey to me, and their fries have always seemed cold and stale.

I used to eat Wendy's every single day for lunch in grade 12: single burger with cheese or a spicy chicken, fries and Diet Coke. If I was feeling lucky, I got a Frosty. Now, I maybe eat it once a year and even then, I'd have to be on a road trip where it's my only option. I'd get a baked potato with sour cream (using only half the container) and chives and a grilled chicken sandwich with BBQ sauce... it just tastes so fake though.

 Oooh!  I've done this too.  It's so good!

We went there tonight. Had a small chili and a baked potato with sour cream/chives. Not too bad. I sometimes have one of thier salads.
