Oreo Math!

Quote  |  Reply

Okay, so at work today there were some DoubleStuf Oreos.  Now, I'm a big fan of "pulling food apart" so I just ate the cookie sides of the oreo, not the white middle.

If 2 DoubleStuff Oreos are 140 calories (70 cals a piece), and 3 normal Oreos are 160 calories (53 cals a piece), does it stand to reason that the difference (17calories) is coming from the white stuff?  Meaning that a normal Oreo has 17 calories of white stuff, leaving 36 calories of chocolate cookie?

I had 4 "sides" of the oreo...meaning about 74 calories yeah?
