OK. So I saw this product in my King Kullen market today, near the eggs.  It is organic pancake batter in a can (like a reddi-whip can).  Apparently the pancakes come out pretty light and fluffy and from the reviews I've read, taste delicious.  Also, it says that 1/4 cup of batter makes 3 4inch pancakes at only 115 calories!!!

a) has anyone tried these?

b)too good to be true? that seems low for pancakes, no?

I have tried these, my stepkids turned me on to them.  And I have to say, I don't think I'll ever make another pancake without it!  They are delicious and turn out perfect every time.  I absolutely loved them.  In fact, the 5 of us eat the entire can every time.  They are that good.  Perfect little fluffy yummies!  I highly recommend them. We buy this by the 3-pack at Costco.  They taste terrific in my opinion (although not as good as the heavy buttermilk pancakes at, say, IHOP), but the serving size is three 4" pancakes, which isn't a huge stack of pancakes.  Still, I love 'em.  They're incredibly easy to make, there is zero messy cleanup, and, if you have kids, you'll find yourself making all sorts of elaborate pancake shapes in no time (which is a blast).

Nicole makes a good point: you can go through a can relatively quickly, which means they aren't particularly cheap.  But for all the reasons previously stated, they are worth every penny IMHO.

LOVE the Batter Blaster pancakes! So simple.....no prep or clean up, they are pretty healthy and yummy!! A can does get used up quickly, but it's definitely worth the money!

I bought it for a camping trip thinking it would be easy without a lot of dishes and cleanup.  They came out perfect!  And, what a bonus that they aren't terrible for you.

We use it too, and also use it for waffles!

We even used it to make waffles for my family at Easter.  One 7" inch Belgian waffle uses enough batter blaster (yes, I measured) to be 250 cals.  It is SOOOO worth it though.

Personally, I think they taste good, and are SO worth not having my husband destroy the kitchen to make one waffle.

These are great if you want to have a breakfast treat, but don't want to destroy your kitchen in the process! They'll never taste quite as good as the real thing, but the nutrition and ease of pancakes-in-a-can makes up for anything they lack.
