Organic peanut butter and taro rolls

I LOVE peanut butter and taro bread. It taste so yummy! But does it make you gain weight? I mean it has your carbs and your protein! So, isn't it healthy?

you dont just gain wait from eating something... you gain weight by eating 3500 calories more than you burn... thus equals 1 pound... whether you eat 3500 more and gain a pound or burn 3500 calories and loose a pound,,, a calorie is a calorie... you can spend them wisely or poorly... either way in the end that is it... the benifit comes from the vitamins and minerals in your food ... those two choices are better than say ... white bread and full fat processed peanut butter with a bunch of ingredients that you cannot pronounce.... hope that helps... keep up the better choices

Where does one buy taro bread?! I love taro...taro chips, taro popsicles, taro pudding, taro cakes (the sweet sponge cakes AND the dimsum ones), steamed taro...haha...:D

Yay! We have those in Houston! Is it from the bakery or should I look for a specific brand?

I'm so glad you posted this..I thought I was the only one!
I actually have taro pancake mix, and I've been known to make extras so I can make a peanut butter "sandwich" for the next day's snack. I love taro.

It is around the bakery section of Sam's Club, by all of the breads. I LOVE TARO!

Taro bread is a delicious and nutritious type of bread that is purple and taste kind of sweet, but yet taro-y. Yummy!

i never had taro rolls before, but peanut butter, especially the natural and/or organic kinds, is healthy if you don't eat too much of it. stick with the serving sizes and you should be fine. i eat it right out of the jar everyday, sometimes with an apple as a healthy snack =)
