Are there any other FLYBabies out there?

I was wondering: did any of you start your weightloss journey with FLYLady (at www.flylady.net) and her Body Clutter Investigator and her book, Body Clutter?  Anyone still using her website and daily emails to stay motivated to get rid of "Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrom" in your life?

Peggy, I just scroll the site really fast and put it in my favs. I'll read through it tonight when I need a distraction from food.
Thank-you, the site looks great.  C.H.A.O.S.  It's been to my house!
Hey Peggy, my fiancee is a FlyBaby. I can't say we always follow the FlyLady, but when the house gets messy, FlyLady helps my fiancee do things in a sensible way :)
I love FlyLady. I followed it for about a month and it worked great.  I got busy and it went by the wayside, but I'm glad you mentioned it.  I want to look into it again.  Their advice is so sensible and easy to follow.
LOL.  my mom is a part of that website.  She get e-mails all the time and i see her scrolling through the site everyday (it seems like anyway).  lol, thats funny.  Its a small world after all!
I knew there had to be more of us out there and more who needed to know about FLYLady!

I found FLYLady first, but there are several things that she and CC have in common.  One is that both sites are full of good tools and they will work for you if you implement them.  And they are both "sensible" as adayton mentioned.  FLYLady got me started on this weight loss journey by teaching me to love myself first and take care of me so I can take care of others in my life.  She is a great encouragement to me.  Anyone struggling with their self-image would do well to check out her site and let her start sending you emails.  Pretty soon you will get what she calls "flywashed" and you will begin thinking better thoughts about yourself.  She's a cool lady and I really appreciate what she does for me.  I'm glad that there are others out there benefitting from her wisdom and love.

Hi Peggy - I found flylady a few years ago & have do use her methods when I feel like I'm getting burried alive by my house! I have to check out the body clutter area. It's been awhile since I've been to the site. Thanks, I will have to visit again!
Me too!!!  A friend got me into it a couple of years ago.  It has been such a blessing in our home.  I still freak when people drop by, but I think that is just out of habit.  :)  No my house is not spotless, nor will it ever be.  But it is comfortable and lived in without being too embarassingly messy.  My friend, Karen, and I are thinking about going on the Alaskan Cruise they are doing in August.  It was so funny, cause we have been talking about that for a few years and here is an opportunity finally.  :)  I haven't read the body clutter book yet, but I hear it is great and am looking forward to getting it.
I'm a FlyBaby too! How did everyone do over the holidays?? Her Holiday Mailings were wonderful!
Hello, danareale!  I didn't "cruise through the holiday", but I did use some of the concepts to get everything done on time.  I just kind of hit the high spots.  Hey, it worked for me!

Have you read Body Clutter yet?  Good book!  Not your typical "diet" book, that's for sure.  It starts where the real problems lie, in your mind and heart.  I think that is where the battle is won or lost.  Amazon had it last week for $8.97 with free shipping on orders over $25.  Some friends and I went together and bought enough to get free shipping.  Cool deal!  I would highly recommend this book for anyone looking to shed their "body clutter"!
