What other teens want to lose weight?
My name's Amanda. I am 5.7 and weigh 170. I want to weigh 140. I want to talk to other teens who have huge goals like mine.

It might not seem like much of a goal, but it's one nonetheless and if you want someone to talk to, let me know.
Lauren. Like Jaime, I also want to go from 145 (well, really 147, but it was so close...) to 120. Also willing to talk. In complete sentences too!
I've had a lot of experience with dieting, and a lot of failures. I have to say that lately I have been a bit discouraged. Are you a new dieter? If so, I am sure you are full of motivation and hope! As an old dieter, I can feed off of this and in return provide you with my dieting expertise (Starvation mode? Metabolism? Scale fluctuations?). A very symbiotic relationship.

How are you all today? I'm a "new dieter" (new to healthy dieting) and want to go from 152 to 130 so I also want to lose around twenty pounds. I'd really appreciate some motivation and people to talk to. I'd love to help anyone out! I think its best to share your experiences with people, it makes it more real and possible and helps you stay out of your head. (I tend to over think things like dieting way too much when I'm left alone). So far I've been pretty good but heres hoping I don't fall of the wagon.

I'm Doulia, I'm 5'7 and currently weight 150 ish pounds. (I havent weighted myself in a while... too scared!).
Anyways, I've had a hard time with some eating disorders (anorexia back then, now bulimia and binge eating), which made me gain all the extra weight. I'm looking to get back in shape and work my way down to 130.

You guys can totally do it! I'm 5'7" and was at 175 and now I'm 141.5! I'm just looking to lose a few more lbs for vanity.

uhhmm well ima swimmer for the brookdale buccaneers and so i swim a lot.
im 5 7 and i weigh probably around like 140ishh? and my goal is to lose about 10 pounds and weigh 130.
im trying to figure out if that would be healthy for me thoughhh, cuz a lotta my friends say im already pretty skinny as it is.
but i wanna get ride of the weight cuz i think it would help my performance in the pool as well, and i do quite a few more sports also. i play soccer, volleyball, basketball, i like to cheer, and yeahh. so it would help..?
Hey guys. I'm 5'5" and around 130. You guys have great goals! With enough effort, nothing can stop you from acheiving it. Trust me, last September I was at 162... and I've come so far! It feels amazing. You invest so much time into it and it is worth it. So keep on track and don't get too hard on yourself. Hi everyone! I'm Mariah, I'm 18, 5'11", and 248 pounds. I was down in the 230s, but I relapsed when I got kicked out and moved across the country. My overall goal is to hit 180 and we'll see what I think my body can/should do when that rolls around. Right now, I just want to loose 18 pounds and get into the 220s - - something I haven't seen since 6th grade.I guess my biggest problem is motivation and feeling like no one else knows exactly what I'm going through. But I guess everyone feels like that when they're teens, right? ;)
i know im not the modifier or whatevvv but i just wanna say i think you all have great goals :) i know mines not really that big at all, but yeah, its still a goal. and songbird09, you are right, cuz i feel that exact same way. when i was in 3rd and 4th grade i had very bad weight problems. i remember begging my mom to take me to mcdonalds like everyday lol. i was probably 5 3 and i weighed probably around 120. as i got older, in about probably 6th grade, it was all mostly evened out, but i still was slightly chubby. now, i absolutely HATE mcdonalds, so that helps me not to get the 'mcd urge' haha. when ever you feel like getting fast food, if you have healthy options close at hand, think about all the grease they use to make hamburgers and stuff, and how much fat is in it. that's how i got steered away from it. i hope this has helped. and just about 20 minutes ago, i got home from a 1.5 mile jog with my doggie. haha he was running behind me almost the whole time and he's a labrador. talk to me whenever you'd like, my aim is swimnkickchick22 :)
