So I'm a bulimic in recovery. And It's been a very long time since I've binged or purged.
....Until recently. My dad died a few weeks ago and my mom and sister are arguing a lot and I feel like I'm losing all control again. Anyway, I binged again a few times but I only purged one time 2 days ago. And it seems ever since I purged, I have this pain in my chest. It hurts when I laugh, or take a deep breath. I don't know if it's related to the purging or not.. But does anyone know what this could be?
If you're ever worried about abdominal pains you should always see a doctor... It could be that by vomiting you've exposed some part of your digestive tract to stomach acids and the area is still inflamed. It could be that the bingeing has given you indigestion or heartburn. It could be something entirely unconnected. Try taking an over-the-counter antacid such as Gaviscon liquid. If it helps then what you're experiencing is probably indigestion. If it doesn't go away in a day or two, see your doctor.
Ok thanks
I'm sorry about your loss :(
I'm sorry about your loss too :(
Losing someone you love is ALWAYS hard. Stay strong, k? You can beat this! Of course it's always easier said than done.... but you CAN do it. You've done it before, you can do it again
G-luck
