outfit ideas for semi-formal party
I'm not very girl.
I probably won't wear a cocktail dress (unless I find one I really actually like, but that's about 1% chance).
I would prefer to wear pants, but don't like those 'dress pants', so I'm not sure what options there are that fit into a semi-formal.
I may consider a skirt.
I don't own/wear heels, except the 'chunky' style, none of which are all that nice. I thought I'd get a nice pair of boots with a middle-ground width heel.
I've never been to a semi-formal so any suggestions would help (not even sure how 'formal' and semi-formal is lol).
Your new boots, knee-length skirt, sleeveless top with plunging neckline and a big sparkly necklace.
Semi formal for women is either a dress, a skirt (no more than an inch above the knee), a pantsuit or a dress suit.
If they say semi-formal, you should probably stick to the rules above. Just wear a simple black skirt and a decent top.
It depends on the boots that you choose to wear. If they are like this, then you can probably get away with it. But not boots that are very chunky.
Get a dress that fits you fabulously! Enlist a friend's help. You will be amazed at how great you can look. The people on TLC's what not to wear are always happy with their "transformation".
Most people look good in a wrap dress but I just looked up your age and you might find it a little "old" for you ... depending on the dress really.
real nice dark wash or black jeans not low cut. and a nice blouse, shirt, or sweater. some realy cute heals and bag. and you will be set. like going to a nice bar and not being slutish.
Nice dress black pants with a great white shirt/blouse, Mary Jane flats or ballerina flats in black or silver. Classic.
