ok.......plz tell me how this works. my calories for the day is about 1400. say i have eaten 1700. if i exercise 300 calories off, will i still be ok, i mean like i didnt eat those extra 300 calories?

Sort of, but it varies depending on how many of those calories were from fat.

Sort of.  Hopefully many of your choices today were from a variety of nutrition rather than a ton of junk food.  You can also exercise just a bit more all of the days of the week if you'd rather.  If you ate a bunch of junk your digestive system  might be a bit off track for a day or so.

Even if you don't and just call it a day you're still fine.  300 calories is less than 1/10th of a lb.

Nope, a calorie from fat is still just a calorie. A gram of fat has more calories than a gram of protein or carb (9 vs 4), but a calorie is a calorie is a calorie.
