When I first started losing weight, I was at about 255-260 last September. Since then I have gotten down to 215 by dieting, exercising and lifting weights every night! I would like to get to 180 by my birthday (June 21) Count me into the 200 club but hopefully not for long!
Well, I feel this forum should keep on going... I think we "over 200" really need it!

I weigh 273 right now... down 3 pounds since I started in mid- January. I don't post a lot on the forums but I read them a lot! I like to use my journal and my "friends'" journals to post comments.

I hope to leave the 200 club sometime next fall... Untill then, I am with all you in this on-going effort to get rid of the fat!!!
I just joined yesterday and I must say I am thankful for this forum.  I know each and every one of you will give me the motivation I need to reach my goal of 150.  My current weight is 230.  Keep posting.
welcome to the club ttyler
I just thought I would post on here too. I posted on another club site, but No one talks back. I need alot of help! Please!
Hi craftin4me!  Nice to meet you!  I just joined the 200 club last week. :-)

Anything I can help with?
Hey Everyone,

I just joined caloie-count.com yesterday, and would like to join your group.  I am currently 250 lbs, and am lookingat about 115lbs to loose.  i would be happy though if I made it to 160lb, as that is what I was at when i met my husband in highschool.

I am 27yo, live in Ontario, Canada.  Work FT, currently starting my own business, have a large greenhouse, and run an annual pagan festival.  Needless to say I keep on my toes.  I have been eating extremely healthy for about the last 4 years, and am having  one heck of a time loosing this weight.  The good thing is I carry it well.  So Now I am trying to squeeze the gym back into the little time I have left, I love those aqua aerobics.

I look forward to getting to know you all.

Hey!  I'm new here.

Currently 281 pounds (as of Thursday).

My first goal is 250 as soon as possible.

My ultimate goal is 140 by December 2008.

Glad you all joined.
Hi tamieka,

glad you are here. I usually am on here 3 or more times a day. Just checking the chat and trying to get some inspiration.
lightninmd,

I would love to have you for a buddy. I put you on my friends list and you can get my email address on my profile or its on one of my posts on here.

So how are you holdin up. I did pretty good today. But I think Valentines Day is gonna be a small problem. I bought my husband candy, but I asked him to buy me an exercise dvd and he did. But I still know where his candy is and its tempting. Lol
I would like to make some weight loss buddies around the same weight as me.

As of this morning I was 200.2 lbs

Im a 20/f from Wisconsin. I Just had a baby on Jan 12th.  The day I gave birth I was 240 lbs and Im already down to 200 but now its getting hard.  The first about 30 lbs came off easily but the last 10 i've really had to work for.  I have struggled with my weight for YEARS.  Two years ago I was down to 150 and loved it but gradually gained the weight back.  So my goal is 150 by August 16th (My 21st bday).  Is this a reasonable goal?

I exercise 5 days a week either walking or doing taebo.
Hey All!  I'm a little late coming into this thread but clearly there are a lot of us that are on the same page right now!  I really like the idea of a 200+ crew that can relate to each other.  Although I know we're all here for the same main reason - HEALTH! - it's hard for me to really support and feel supported by someone that is going from 150-115lbs.  I just feel like we can't really, truly understand where the other is coming from.

I joined in early Jan at 275lbs.  Now down to 263.4.  Goal #1 is to get and STAY under 200.  I don't ever want my weight starting with a 2 again.

Goal #2 is to lose 100lbs in total.

Then, as I get there I can decide whether I want to go all the way and try to reach my 'ideal' BMI weight.  Right now it seems unattainable so I'm just focusing on 10lb increments and working from there.

I'm DEFINITELY up for new friends so feel free to add me. :)

Hey you all,

Happy Valentines Day!!!

Hope everyone has a great day today. Let me know how it goes!

I am really happy to have support in this. I have alot to lose- 166lbs to be exact. And I agreee  Mefunk, I know that people who have 20-50 lbs to lose are concerned too. But I think everyone in here who is like me needs long time support.

So thank You all !!!!!
Its great to see all of us in the same boat who needs the support from this forum.  This place is really helping me.  Even though I don't post very often, I read the posts every day just to get the motivation from everyone else. Without this, it would be harder to focus on a goal.  I can't wait to get out of the 200s too.  Just getting out of the 250s and then ekeing out of the 240s felt so good. I can only imagine what I will feel when I remove that "2" in front of my weight numbers.  Thanks everyone for all your motivation.
    HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!!!

Today wont be hard for me....my husband is out on the road and were snowed in ....so no way to go buy chocolate.....
Another newbie here! Just found this website last week and I absolutely love it!!  So glad to find this forum!  I've been in the "over 200 club" for a long time now, and I've finally decided I want out!  :) My weight topped out at 244 lbs. as of January 3rd, '07... I decided it was time to make some major changes in my life (like removing such words as McDonalds and Taco Bell from my vocabulary - haha seriously though :)) I really started watching what I was eating and counting the calories, and of coarse the all important EXERCISE was added in as well!  Which truly is my biggest struggle, well that's not true...it's just as hard to walk past the chip isle at the grocery store as it is to walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes! :) I have managed to loose 18 lbs. since January 3rd, but being the chronic yoyo dieter that I have been all my life - here is where I start to loose interest (and motivation and self control and so on and so on...). I've lost and gained the same 20 lbs more times than I can count!  But this time I have a differnt mind set - I want to be healthy (I was just put on medication for high blood pressure :() I want to be a good example for my boys, and I want to feel good.  So thanks to all of you for posting your stories and tips, it really is good to hear from people who have been and even still are in my shoes!!!
