Hello, all, I am at 262 this morning, heaviest I've ever been was 270.5, the day AFTER I came home from a dream vacation in Greece. It was tragic. I'm 33 and my goal is to get to 125 by the time I turn 40. I have 6.5 years to go and I don't want to look like a prune when I am done. Ish. I know that I can and will do it. i have an IRL friend who is working on a similar goal, but she only has about 1 year until her wedding. I know we can make extreme progress before then. I don't know what a good weight for me to be at would be, mainly because I've been overweight since I was about 8 years old, always a chubster. I have a fantastic husband of nearly 2 years that goes along with me on my journey, and he has managed to lose 20 pounds since we started dating and keep that off for the past 2.5 years. I on the other hand found those lbs. I was at 239 when we got married. Long way to go.
Eating healthy has put me back on track, definitely. I was being bad and had skipped both breakfast AND lunch for almost a week of class (my classes are from 9-2) and was very irritable and nasty. So I started brown bagging my lunch---have ya'll ever tried the BumbleBee tuna fat free tuna salad with whole wheat crackers? YUM. And it's only like 180 calories I think? Then I also brought a little serving size of pineapple tidbits and a bottle of water, and I was good to go until dinner! I was quite pleased. Also, Healthy Choice has these soup bowls that are really good too...the chicken and rice one is like 90 calories, but it's 2 servings, so it's about 180 calories or something like that. I grabbed that and a little jar of green beans between chemistry lecture and lab.
I hope that everyone has had a good week and gets to enjoy their weekend! We are headed to the apple orchard Saturday for picking, a hayride and a walk through a corn maze---though with the drought here in SC...our orchard lost about 2/3 of it's crop!

I'm not getting on the scale till tomorrow I know I've lost but I want a surprise at the end of each week. I've been true blue. I didn't take my walk today so much to do today. I went out to lunch with my daughter I had the Walnut blue cheese salad at Mime's Cafe Oh it is so delicious and it was the full salad with chicken Breast strep's and water two tall 16oz. I'm keeping to my promise of 68oz water a day I have been going over which is a good thing.
I will take a walk tomorrow morning. See you the path beckiey

Does anyone have any tips on how to deal with people at work who try to get you to eat? (I usually threaten them with bodily harm
). I know they mean well but if one more person offers me a doughnut I may go postal!

When they offer you a doughnut just say No thanks you eat it for me and I just might want another one in 5 minutes you eat that one too.
Good News Today I weighed in at 196.5 WOW! doing the chachacha Man I thought I was never going to move that darn scale.... I thought it was broken. Becky right behind you!

Other than that, doing okay, I'm just so sick of dieting...someone show me some love here! Remind me why I am doing this?? I just want a BIG bacon cheeseburger right now.

once i hit 250 i plan on Biking, though i never learned as a kid (im 19) so its gonna be a hard start.
luckly im not having many problems keeping my calories low. cept for when my friends try to stuff cake down my throat (the literally held me down and stuffed it in my mouth... they are some bad girls :) )

I know it's not easy to get that scale moving it's just stepping it up walk farther ride your bike... I know Skip Rope watch that scale move. I am so proud of you. <<<<BIG HUG>>>>I'm at 193.5 as of today went for my walk I can't wait to reach 190 I would be so happy. I to feel it's taken for everrrrr - I just look at where I was in November 2006 at 245.5 and in January 2007 is when I started CC at 243. It feels great to wear clothes that I like not that size 24 now I'm a size 12 and I'm working very hard passing on temptation its always around me. I am eating almost as a vegetarian I think I'll go all the way. I love chicken thats the only meat I really eat so I think I can let go of that very easily. Well Beckie drink plenty of water there's where I'm heading to now. AND, DON"T BUY THAT CHEESE BURGER at least not yet. Let's both reach 150 and I'll join you for a Burger.
Hi and new to the group. I am the heaviest I have ever been and I am so miserable. I'm 5'4 - and weighed in at 209 on October 1st. I am down to 206 today. It has really helped by putting everything down on the chart that goes into my mouth.
I'm confused about the exercise calorie on the right side.
Oh and I'm 53 and work from home. Was glad to see an area that I think I will fit in because some of the posts seemed it was from girls who were barely over weight.
Is there a way to book mark this so its easy to get to everyday?
I am walking in the evenings but going to start doing the walk away the pounds cd. I would like to get down to 150. When we moved here in 1990 I weighed in at 122 and it has just slowly creeped on.
