Over 200 club!
HI! My name is Laura and i am 5-5 and 235 lbs as of today. I did weigh 240 almot 2 weeks ago. I am counting calories cuz I do not know what ele to do. When i gave birth, I only weighed 201 lbs! My son is 5(his bday is halloween). I cant believe i have put on so much lately. I have high blood pressure so I am on Diovan. I am also on protonix( for heartburn). I took myself off depo provera lat Sept and currently have the IUD, Mirena. Birth control was part of it but that is why I switched to IUD. I am taking it slow, and watching what I eat. I guess I am supposed to stay under 1700 calories and I walked 20 minutes today. I hate exercise now but I have to do it to lose weight the old fashioned Way!

Carol-eating one cookie for you is like me trying to eat one chip...it is a miracle if we can stop at one. Woohoo for your miracle!! :)
Iggy-feed that stomach when it rumbles. A small snack with lots of water will do the trick everytime. Unless it's rumbling because it's time to eat a meal. I remember the blackjack gum now...I wasn't sure if you were referring to cards or the gum.
Ginny, have you posted your pancake recipe here on CC? If you do, let me know and I'll tag it so I can try it one of these days. I don't know about the sugar free syrup either though. I'll have to test that one out you suggested...Maple Grove Farms-walmart.
BLJ-I have a similar evening schedule. I do most of my errands at night too. I get home around the same time. It really sucks in the winter...I feel I never see the sun.
KT-I keep forgetting to mention you and your noggin! I'm sorry. I hope your top and bottom feels better. Are you able to sit yet?
CB-woohoo on your loss and keeping up with your exercises! Remember your hubby loves you and is excited to see you. Time to bust out with something sexxy for him, you may not feel it but he sure does! Go with it!!! Besides, think of the extra stamina you'll have from your regular exercises! ;)
Josette-we're all worried about failure. Every time I leave work I think...will I be able to do dinner nutritionally? Every weekend I think will I be able to stay in my calories today? Will my husband's chips hypnotize (sp?) me tonite/today?

Good Morning Everyone.... I lost .6 pounds so rather than the scale saying 212.8 It says 208.6 YAY!!! I have 8.6 pounds to go this month!!! Everyone seems to be doing sooooooooooooooo well! I am proud of everyone :-) I look forward to getting to work so I can check this forum... It is the only one I feel really "at home" in. You are all so comforting and have provided sooooo much support when that little craving or nag bites me in the butt..... You are truly great people! Gardening sounds fun.... I think I may do that with my mom on Mother's Day since she LOVES to garden! Tomorrow is my 5 mile parade walk.... YAY which I need to get a pedometer.

I only had maybe 1300 calories, I think I added the chips wrong because I HIGHLY doubt I ate 3 oz. of chips because I wasn't gulping them down.... I think the whole basket may have been 3 oz! LOL Anyway, I did aerobic exercise for about 45 minutes total yesterday with my cheer team so thats good and slept OH SO WONDERFULLY... I was so tired... GOOD LUCK TODAY!! Happy Friday

I can't believe it. Somehow I have not ingested a single morsel of food since probably 2pm yesterday...and all I had yesterday was a bowl of soup and a Kit Kat bar. Yet I still don't feel hungry.

tabby- i fell victim to the donuts today but it was sooo good. I've been having no-no food cravings and I had to quiet it down somehow!

vk-thanks for thinkin of my bum haha. still have not had an ounce of a headache which I find seriously odd. but my tailbone hurts a lot more now. I think sitting in classes all day just made it a lot worse. i had a hard time finding a comfy position in bed last night so I kept waking up. hopefully it gets better soon but i just don't know what to do aobut it.
well for the second day in a row I weighed 219.2! that is a loss of 2 pounds so far this weeka nd I don't even weigh in until Monday! dropping to 1300 cals was definitely a good idea. I'm goin to an italian restaurant tonight w/ my sis and her coworkers (they all work for my dad) so I'm goin to enjoy it but definitely choose somethign that isn't in a cream sauce. I can't wait!

66 calories per pancake
and 29 calorie mini pumpkin muffins
When I made the muffins, the pumpkin I used had a few less calories than what CC gives it. I calculated my muffins to be 23 calories each but went ahead with what they listed here so people don't think I'm nuts.

ellbell, too funny, you keep us all laughing! I do or have done all of them except for exhaling, gotta try that one! I totally use the towel bar to get on the scale slowly. My husband just jumps right on. How foolhardy!

I am going to do a triathlon in September! My parents have been doing marathons/triathlons w/ this group that benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and I always wanted to do it but haven't had the time. But now that I'll be graduating and trying to get in shape I figured this woudl be an awesome time to do it! They train you and keep you motivated so I think it will be a lot of fun. I'm so excited!!!!! I would like to be down at least another 30 pounds by the tiem the triathlon comes and I'm sure if I"m workin my butt off it will come off pretty quick. I figure if my parents can do triathlons in their 40s then I can do it!

Oh, shopping was soo much fun today. I had more choices of clothing to try on and as it turns out I`m in-between sizes so, nothing really fit quite right but, it was a great feeling. I`m going to wait a few more weeks before I buy some clothes. I did find a lot of cute stuff today but, ended up not buying them. I did finally find a nice purse, blazer perfect for summer and a new digital camera for our upcoming trip this summer. I love electronics shopping!!
Anyways, I did really great on my eating today. I did not go over my calories at all. I`m proud of sticking to it. I`m hoping that I`ll be under 200 in no time at all!!! We`ll see what the weekend holds for me.

No binging now, we are all looking good and working hard, so let's keep it up. My husband says we need to have "Fatitude." and kick it in the butt.
So far so good today! It is already 9:30 and I am at 1400 calories. SECOND day in a row! Y-e-e-e-s! So far, not hungry! I've been trying hard to eat a good breakfast, a later lunch. A snack of about 100-150 calories since I don't get home till late and then I'm not starved for dinner and i've been trying to eat healthy for dinner with veggies and meat. BUT, I did have 2 slices of pepperoni pizza tonight and I still am at 1400. I feel quite proud of myself. Thinking about the scales so far has kept me from cheating and over eating.... I am really hoping to see 235 or less. I will be happy with anything under 237.
Electronics shopping! Sigh! I want a big bad camera! NIKON D80! and that is $1299, without tax. That will be my first celebration when I get below 200 lbs. 199 will see me at the Photography Shop! Now that is a goal and a grand reward. The next goal will get me a nice big lens to go with the camera. But I have to be under 175 and my pocket book needs to be a little fatter. Ha ha ha!
