I am Ashley... I began calorie count on April 16 2007 and have been back and forth with losing weight but have managed to keep off 11 pounds solidly!  I am working really really hard to get more off but the smaller I shrink the harder it becomes!  My downfall is definately caffeinated drinks!  I know Diet Pepsi and Diet Coke aren't as bad as drinking regular, but still, without them, there wouldn't be air in my stomach, which often times helps retains water and makes me bulge!  I am here to see how much I can Really lose!  I think being the person "in charge" will hold me more accountable for my actions because I want to be a good influence to others... Hopefully by January goal weight!

CW:  197.8 ( I am up a pound from last week's monday)

This is JUST what I need.  As of today, I'm 212.5 but I'll post all my stats by Sept. 1st.  I'll need to have some help getting those measurements.  Can you post a link or explain WHERE to measure your arms, calves, etc.?  Do you measure at the widest part or what?

Hey B!  The link didn't work but thank goodness you named it what you did.  That was kinda hard to miss!  Lol

Of cousre you know you can count me in on this!  I'll post my stats by the deadline.  I have them today but what if I lose in the next 12 days!!!  Cause you know I'm tryin'!Laughing

I'm in!  can I stay even if I hit the magic 199 before the first -- I'm still in the "honeymoon" phase of my new lifestyle, and the water weight comes off so much "easier"

COACH:  of course you can!  I am under 200 and I still am part of the Over 200 Club!  I love it... I will be down to my goal and still be a member!  :-)  Great to see some participants!

K:  I will get you a link ASAP!!! Super busy right now to look, but tonight, will have it posted! :-0  Typically it is at the widest part though :-)

Let the games begin!  CW:  334.6  I'm not really sure what my goal weight should be for January.  I have a lot to lose, but I don't know what to figure as realistic and healthy.  GW:  314?  Any guidance/advice welcome.  Have a great one everyone!

Hey Ash...count me in too.  I am definitely in need of some accountability.  Can't seem to get out of this glum lately so please count me in.

ginny

Yeah, Ginny made it over here!!!  Hey Ginny! *waves*

Mermaid, I vote for you trying for 310, it's a nice round number and not too far fetched.  BTW, welcome to CC!

YAY!!!! Ginny, Priya, Mermaid!  WELCOME to our challenge!  I hope you made it over to our forum?

Ginny:  I am sooooooooooooo happy you are going to join the challenge again!  I really really missed you... you are a great friend!

VK:  You are awesome too!! I don't know what I would do without you or Chris as my co-losers!  We need to really promote our challenge!

Here is a very very interesting calculator in finding your IDEAL measurements!!  I am using it to compare me now, to what I would like to be!!! I would like you to post here (if you choose) what your ideal measurements will be!

I will weigh and measure on the morning of the 1st and get all my stats in as well...I can't wait to do this and be here with all of my CC friends!

ah, B -- I'm sorry, but those ideal measurements are for the ideal guy...

I researched more because the chest measurement seemed a tad high (I'm already big with my 38s, 45s would make me topple over, specially with a 31 inch waist)
Thanks vklamorick!  310 sounds like a plan!
count me in too bqueen  this is exactly what I need an accountability challenge!!Cool

i'm in!  i am SOOOO looking forward to this....

will report my stats on September 1 too - i'm with VK, trying to see how much i can lose before then! LOL

LOL!!!! I am laughing so hard right now... I was looking at my calves and thinking... HOW CAN YOU GET ANY BIGGER?!  You are right... Im a crazy nerd!  Lets try to find one for the ideal female :-)
Hi all! I'm ready. I finally lost a bit more. Only a half a pound down from my lowest, but I'm psyched! People at work made comments about me looking better. Had not seen most of them for a couple months (I drive a school bus for those that don't know me) so it was pretty cool. Getting close to 45 lbs. I can't wait to hit 50!

YAY, EVERYBODY! LETS DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is way funny about the measurements, btw!!!

Oh Blue...you are going to feel SO proud of yourself when you hit 50 down.  And...we'll be so proud of you too!!!Smile
