work toward burning off that extra pumpkin pie, extra stuffing and extra mashed potatoes this week!  Lets focus on the next 3 weeks really hard!

bqueenme, I'm in. Currently I don't have much faith, but I need some motivation and I feel my participation will give me a goal to shoot for! I'll submit my info on the first!

Woohoo...welcome drac!  I am glad you are here...we can support each other daily!  I don't have much faith in myself right now, either...but I know we can do it!  I will keep you going...and you can keep me going...maybe we can have faith in each other if not in ourselves!!!
bqueenme, sounds like a great challenge. I am lacking a bit of the faith I think I might need, but I am willing to give it a try :) My CW is 210.0 lbs.... I will post everything else on Sept 1! Thanks for adding the challenge!!! Annie

It is sooooooooooooooo awesome to see such a great turnout!  :-)  I can't wait to get this challenge on it's feet!  I can't wait to see our results as a "team" as well as individual goals achieved!  Yippee!!!

FYI:!!!!!!!

Each month we will focus on a new and important part of our transformation... The first month will be focused on changing our eating habits and adding some well needed exercise...  Just keep that in mind once September hits!!!  Each week we will have a challenge that incinuates that main challenge goal of CHANGING our eating habits and adding some form of exercise...

Yay!  I have planned out the entire month of September for our challenge... I have begun on October!  I hope you guys are in for a great and motivating challenge... Not only am I focusing on changing eating and exercise but I am also going to try and focus on fixing the inside too... Battling fears and trying new things never thought of us!  This is going to depend mostly on YOU... because we are not necesarily trying to "beat another team" but we are trying to "beat the inner person preventing us from being who we really want to be!"

Each time I log on I am more ramped up and fired up to start this new and exciting challenge!  You are all going to do so great.. but always remember, it is only you that decides how successful you will be... It is only you that decides (or makes excuses) and it is only going to be you who is going to change your habits!

It is a program on your computer... If you have Microsoft Office... If not, then that is okay too!!! I will definately be keeping everyone posted, but if you want to have access to your stats any time of the day, that is the way to do so!  :-)  of course, you will always be able to see your results on Calorie Count!  So great of you to join Foxfire!  Happy you are ready to challenge yourself to a new you! :-)
Hey Ashley,  Count me in!  I haven't had a chance to post since last week and this is the only time today.  See you at the motivation forum.  I REALLY need it!  Things are crazy at work and home and I am so, so, so, busy.  I've been trying to keep up and can't, so this challenge may make the difference!!

Hey Ashley, I wanna play, too.  Since I'm pregnant now, I need to figure out what my goals should be.  The numbers clearly won't be as impressive but hey, by Jan I'll be 6 mo. along!  I'll try to come up with something, but I may change it mid-September after I talk to my Dr. again.  Yay! 

I'm definitely in as well. Hopefully, I'll be able to keep up with it. :)

Sarah:  Great... This challenge will actually be perfect for you!  It is about changing your eating habits, exercising and changing YOU!  I think you can do everything I have planned so to keep you and baby healthy I think you are smart in joining!

Okay So I have completed the October Weight Loss Challenges and Theme and am beginning to work on November!  WHEW... We are all going to be soooooooo awesome looking by the holidays!  I really cant wait for the 1st... i am so excited, and I can't wait to see how everyone responds!  I hope everyone is as motivated and ecstatic about this challenge as I am!  I know we can all do it if we just put our hearts and minds to it!

thanks vk, I am trying to think of a reward to give myself for hitting 50. Husband said I could get a facial cuz I was complaining that my skin is crappy but I think I would rather spend money on clothes. I like shrinking out of my clothes but at the same time I have to part with things that I just bought and I really like.

Husband is watching football, yuk! He doesn't watch a lot of it but when it involves Minnesota I might as well forget it!

We dropped my daughter off at college today which was really hard for me. I know she is only 40 min away but it still sucks! Now I have no one to give me an opinion on whether my clothes are fashionable or not. Oh well, I guess I managed before she grew up, I suppose I can dress myself, lol.

Yay only 6 more days until Challenge starts!  I am soooooooooooo excited... I know I need a constant challenge to keep me on top of things with weight loss!  I am excited about this challenge because it is monthly focused as well as weekly focused... it isn't just all about exercise and weight loss but also about fixing the "you" inside to make you more self confident, motivated and excited about weight loss!
I'm in too! My CW is 250. or around that. My scale is a old one from the 60's it's puke green ick. But I will be getting a new scale before the 1st! I just joined yesturday and this was just what I was looking for. You Gals are awsome! I can't wait till Jan!
hi, i just joined the site today, on the advice of my best friend.  i have always had struggles with weight, since i was about 9 years old i think.  as of tonight, i am sitting at 280 even...which is down 23 pounds from where i was this time last year, but up about 5 from where i was earlier this year.  i was walking and dieting and all and then it rained for a month so i quit walking which gave me an excuse to quit watching what i eat too.  but last year my best friend dropped 70+ just by eating better and exercising and i see how much beter she feels and how much happier she is and that is how i wanna be -- happy and healthy.  blah blah, sorry :)  anyway i would like to join this too please!

I'll have to get my measurements in but I'll most likely do that on Saturday.  That way I can take my time and dh isn't hovering over me.  Lol   Ugh...I really need this challenge to re-motivate me.  Like you B, I need something to focus on and keep me on top of achieving my goals.   It's the genX in me I guess! 

So B, to clarify...we have to have our weights in to you by 9/1, but our official weigh in day will be Mondays thereafter.  Which means the 2nd weigh in day will be 9/10, right?

L U C Y, I'm getting anxious for more losing!!!  Lol  *slaps knee*  I crack myself up!
