work toward burning off that extra pumpkin pie, extra stuffing and extra mashed potatoes this week! Lets focus on the next 3 weeks really hard!

Hey ladies!! I didn't count calories at all on Monday and Tuesday. How could I? I got back on track today, I put in a short while on the treadmill and tomorrow will be full forced back on the treadmill. I do have to say that my stomach was bothering me ALL day today. I think my body is rejecting all the extra foods I ate. Yahoo, that's gotta mean something good.

I was down to 218.9 on the 23rd, but now I shot back up to 223.5.. bah
I'm going to the gym (finally) it has been a week. Yesterday was boxing day, and I shopped until I dropped. Got a bar set for the apartment, and we are going to rid of our huge dining table that we never ever use. For Christmas my boyfriend got me perfume and a digital camera. My boyfriend's uncle got him Sirius satellite radio with 2 years subscription. We haven't hooked it up yet, but it is exciting!
I hope you guys had a great holiday and didn't gain as much as I did ![]()

Jenn -- I'm up almost 4lb also. I know I didn't eat this much (that would be 14,000 cals beyond my burn -- didn't happen), so I'm presuming it is my total lack of water for about 3 days... Haven't swum since Monday, so that may also contribute...
It's a good thing we have a few extra days for the challenge to end... (I'm already signed up for the Valentine's one -- we'll see how it goes).
I just dumped a tin of chocolate cookies (think Pepperidge Farm but a bigger box) into the garbage disposal -- I was grazing on them last night. Apparently my willpower is not where it should be right now.
FYI -- there is an interesting post in the Weight Loss forum. A member had a consultation with a professional Nutritionist -- she hand poked all the notes into a post -- I recommend reading it. Even if you knew the info already -- this is expert validation.

Onward and downward, onward and downward. I shot up 6 pounds when I got on the scale yesterday but I was back down this morning. I think Coach is right, it was mostly the water. I really probably did go over my cals by at least a pounds worth but I'm not going to sweat it, besides the sweating I'll do with my exercises. heeehee...
I'll see you in the Valentine's day challenge Coach. Jenn, have you considered joining over there? It starts today. I need to post my stats still but no problem, getting that done tonight.

Current Weight (CW): 166.3 Edit: 164.5 (I actually got the scale to come down even lower, but don't want to tempt fate) -- this makes much more sense, and proves how important water really is

Target Goal Weight(GW): 163 (1/1/08)
Well, I don't think I'll make that final goal weight by the first -- but I'll survive. I don't remember eating enough to make the jump back up to 166+ (I had hit 163+ on my official weigh in day), but it may have been cumulative starting around the 13th.
I'm drinking tons of water and really watching the foods I eat -- I guess it's possible that some of it is water and it'll come off again. If not, oh well, back to the grindstone and the Valentines Day Challenge.

Ah, so close to goal yet so far. Like Coach, I doubt I make the 3.4 down by next week but I had fun trying! I did my measurements last night too and I'm down 3.75 inches from the beginning of this month. WAHOO!! I may not be dropping the pounds as fast but I am still dropping inches and sizes so that's cool.
Jenn, Blue...come out and play. How are you two doing?

Oh well. At least we are about done with the holidays although my sister is planning to have my other sister and I over for New Years so I guess one more day of excess.
I really need to get my butt up and work out. I have been really tired the last few days.
Good going vk, glad those inches are coming off! I can't find my measuring tape, grrr.
Coach thanks for the suggestion to read that thread, it was good. I might print it up and give it to a gal at work who has been wanting to lose and has been asking me about what I'm doing.

Talking about more food...on Christmas, when I went to make our turkey it was still frozen so my mom put it back in her fridge all sealed up and I made it last night. So, I have a full turkey all done sitting on my stove. I have to go break it apart, pass some on to my mom and the rest we'll be eating. Thank goodness turkey alone isn't all that fattening.
It's great you only gained a pound Blue. Considering how much we've been tempted with that's not so bad. One more day....one more day....

The "bah" is cause I was at 218.9 before Christmas, and now I'm 223.5 -tear-
As of last night I've been through 3 Christmas dinners, turkey, turkey & ham, and then ham. I portioned everything out but still, I feel like a balloon. With it being TTOM doesn't make me feel much better, lol.
Anyway, I hope everyone had a good weekend and is catching up on their exercise, cause I sure haven't had time to. I haven't worked out since the 20th. All of you shuold be scolding me right now! Hah

Blue, yum, bacon, eggs, & hash browns. I've been using the leftover ham from Thanksgiving and mixing it with eggbeaters and baking fries to go with it. Very similar.... ![]()
My weight this morning was 245 (no matter how many times I got on and off the stupid scale, lol!). I'm trying not to be bummed. Stupid, stupid scale, wrecking my day.
Okay I'm over it.
Hope you all have a good New Year's Eve. This will be the first time I stay up till midnight (if I do) for new years since 2000. I usually sleep right through it which suits me fine actually.

A giant thank you to everyone for your encouragement and support over these past few months!! It is much appreciated.
This challenge didn't do too much for me as far as total weight loss, but it did get me below 300 for the first time in years, so I think it was a success! Thanks again to queenie for starting it, and to all of you for your support.
I'm going to check out the other challenges - hope you see you there!
