200 Over?
Hello all, Well today was just an all out bad day. I went over my calorie limit by 200. What happens now? Will I gain anything. Or just as long as I stay good from now on, will I be alright?
200 calories over is fine. You won't gain. Sometimes it's good to go over your daily limit. It tricks the metabolism and keeps it guessing. No need to worry. :)
do you work out? If you work out then you should be fine. I started to also look at the fat % etc and sodium is also important. But if your in reason of those and work out then your burned calories from your workout compensate for the those extra 200 cals. Once in awhile it's okay to go over. If you zig zag then your fine.

No. Just calm down and stop beating yourself up about the bad day. Remember that, theoretically, it takes 3500 cals to gain a pound. Your metabolism is flexible, not a rigid calculator. 200 cals over on a single day won't even dent it. Your diet is a lifestyle change, not a quick fix. If you hope to maintain this over a long period of time, you'll have to learn to forgive yourself for occasional "bad days."
