i've been doing pretty good for 6 days, since i started going on the right track of maintaining, since the past weeks i have been binging pretty badly. but yesterday (Sunday), i over indulge on food, and i feel pretty guilty, i didnt binge, i just overate on lunch and dinner, and had a huge snack - blame the mango float, oat fiber crackers, and fruits x_x. and i guesstimated i ate around 3500 cals all in all. i feel like i just failed again.

i need advice. :<

You didn't 'fail' but you probably failed to plan the day to take into account lunch, dinner etc.  90% of maintaining your weight comes down to organisation, anticipation and preparation..... thinking ahead about how to play certain situations, walking through what the better choices are going to be and then making it happen on a consistent basis.

However long it took you to get to a healthy weight, set aside that amount of time to calorie-count your way into maintenance.  When you can do that consistently it starts to become automatic ... then it's a lot easier. But until you get into a good habit, it needs to be more deliberate.

Think back through Sunday with a critical eye... where did it go awry?   If, for example, you overate at lunchtime because your breakfast had been too small.... there's something you could fix for next time.

thank you so much gi-jane for the advice.

what really triggered me to overeat was the sticky rice cakes my brother bought, it was just darn delicious. i ate 3 of those, bfast, lunch and dinner. that was my primary source of carbs for each meal, but since it's very calorie dense (1 piece is around 500 cals) that added to a lot of my calories for the day. :(

Then there's another answer..... make more of your regular diet 'darn delicious' and you won't feel quite the same need to overindulge next time sticky rice-cakes are on offer.   You'd be happy with one instead of three.    If your regular diet is boring or makes you feel like you're missing out that's something you can change quite easily.

right on! thanks for enlightening me gi-jane. :> :>

Well, now we know why you overate.....  http://caloriecount.about.com/underweight-ft1 41285  When you're underweight and malnourished your body is under severe stress and will seek extra nourishment.  You've obviously been undereating for quite some time.  Rectify your diet.... 2500 cals minimum per day until you're back up to 48kgs.... and you should find it helps considerably.
