no... you're at a good weight.  you've gotta be careful with those ridiculous calculations they give.  before I HAD a weight issue...

I was 105lbs.... 5 foot even <--still am LOL, anyway, they suggested that I SHOULD be 98lbs!

WHA?!?!?  My daughter weighs more than that!!

Also, any calculator you use is never going to be COMPLETELY accurate. Someone who weighs more might be built differently, and so still not APPEAR overweight, while someone next to them with the same height and weight clearly be chubby...

According to most standards though, you aren't overweight.

i dont see where your weight is that bad...i mean i know people that weigh way more than you do at that height!!!...i mean i am around 5"4 and weigh 12 pounds...if 150 is bad for you then 120 is ridiculous for me then!
You're my weight, but an inch taller.  I'm not overweight, so you arn't either.  Technically your BMI is better.

I have a high body fat percentage, which I'm working on by going to the gym and taking classes.

If I had like 25% body fat, and still weighed 150lbs, I'd look a lot thinner.
since these things are always subjective, you have to choose which opinion to accept.  i suggest you go with your own ;-)

Only use the BMI as a general guideline, but it is truly 'outdated'.
CalorieCount does not compensate for how a persons' structure is. I have big bones and to this day no one can guess my real weight by just looking at me. Even when I was in my teens I weighed more than I looked. I would not worry about it. Your BMI is important so just make sure that it stays right.
umm.. your NOT overweight, by any means..

well according to the BMI calculator you are in the normal weight category but those things aren't really that reliable as they don't take in to account someone's frame/bone size or muscle.

yea, but look at her. does she even remotely look overweight?

It looks like they use the old 1940's Met Life tables.  A lot of sites use them, and neglect to mention a couple things.. Like they assume you are wearing 1" heels. There is some more information on them here:
http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/met.htm

I like this website, it has a number of calculators and explains what is good and bad about the formulas they use:

The figure for women is rather straightforward:

100 pounds at 5 feet

5 pounds for every extra inch

Add or take away a few pounds if you are particularly small or large framed.

150 is healthy, but you could lose ten pounds. You aren't overweight by any means, though.

I took a look at your gallery...you are absolutely NOT the LEAST bit overweight. Personally I would say you are at an excellent weight.

Going by imccarthy 100 =5lb for each inch over 5' I would need to weigh 130 lbs -- the last time I weighed that much I was 20 yrs old and had no children and everyone said I was too thin so don't use that formula by any means!!!

BMI is usually what is the acceptable norms however they can be deceiving since most professional athletes are at unhealthy BMI's and I think for most of us we'd love to have the shape of professional athletes!!

If you are happy with your weight and are healthy then don't lose anymore weight.  I am 5'6" and would be ecstatic to get back to 150 I think I looked pretty good when I was that weight.  If you do weight lifting you are also going to weigh more but take up less space than someone who doesn't workout at all.

I know someone who claimed to weigh the same as me and was the same height as me and because she didn't workout she had rolls and rolls -- back fat love handles muffin top the whole nine yards - but me I do workout and looked a lot better IMHO!!

I agree, the formula immccarthy used said I should be under 115, since I'm a little over 5'2'' and have an extremely small frame. While I'm definitely not happy at my current 132, I don't think I NEED to lose about 20 pounds. So basically, don't pay too much attention to BMI calculators, as everyone has said, they're incredibly outdated. You basically need to eat healthily and exercise regularly...your ideal weight will come.
