Gas here (central California) was $4.55 today for basic unleaded. What are gas prices doing in your neck of the woods?

Here it's about $4.50 a gallon.  It goes down to $4.00 a gallon if you go further from the city.  The highest in the area is $4.59 downtown.  

It's a great time to be a walker/bus rider!

This morning it was 3.91 per gallon, but by this evening it was 3.99 per gallon.  We paid 3.79 per gallon because of our Kroger card.

I think ours is about 3.90 now in Minnesota.  Thankfully we can make a tank of gas last two weeks - so I won't really notice the price until next week :)

In central texas it is around $3.87. I am just happy that I have my grocery store and job right up the street. I am fine to just chill at home all summer and not give in to these ridiculous gas prices.

USD$5.81/gallon here in NZ. It sucks!

Ours in Louisiana is still relatively low, $3.73 for regular.  

BUT, I order full tanker loads of fuel for my work (for heavy equip) and today my fuel supplier warned me to get gas TODAY!  Their market indicator shows prices will probably increase an estimated 12 cents just over the weekend, so by Monday AM.  So if you haven't already filled up, you may want to top off tonight (Friday 6/6) or first thing in the morning.

Gas in Rhode Island is still hovering around $4.00/gallon, but seeing as how my family as a whole drives less than twenty miles a week the rising prices have little effect on us. 

I paid $3.85 this morning here in STL

i paid $1.34 a liter the other day.  assuming a par dollar, that's $5.06 a gallon.

$1.35 a liter here.  Shot up 10 cents in a day.

I think I saw the gas prices here in Finland say 1.57, I assume for litres (so almost 6 for a gallon). I'm glad I'm not a tourist renting a car here, that price topped with the exchange rate for the Euro (0.60+/-), ouch!

Last I checked, gas was 3.89 a gallon here in NC. Diesel, however, is a whopping 4.69 a gallon. It's just not right, I tell you. =( I'm kind of glad my car is currently out of commission, as it takes diesel, and has outrageously bad gas mileage (the car is older than I am and has an 18 gallon or so tank--if I filled it, I'd spend about 100 dollars for one tank of fuel--yeash). My husband's tiny Chevy Prizm, however, gets about 30 miles to the gallon and has about a 12 gallon tank. I fill it just as often as I was filling The Tank (my car's name) when I was driving that exclusively, and spend half the money on fuel.

It's going to be baaaaad day when he comes home from Iraq and my car is fixed. ;_; I would much rather get a newer car that has better gas mileage than continue to drive The Tank. Convincing my husband to do this is rather difficult, though, and he would rather put off making the decision until he gets back from Iraq. =(

It's hovering around $4 here in Philadelphia. I've become SO preoccupied with saving gas it's insane.

I commute about 2 hrs to work, & it's to the point where I need the job just to pay for the gas haha.
But it's really hard for me because I'm one of those people that lives for roadtrips & just driving around aimlessly... I obviously have had to give that up. =[

It's been sticking for about a week at $3.89 in north-central North Carolina.  Last week I went to Virginia to save $.20 per gallon, which isn't too bad, because it's only 8 miles from my house (and 31 mpg car).  $.20 x 12 = $2.40 - (16/31 x 3.69)= 49 1/2 cents... I'll take it!

ours hit 4.15 a gallon yesterday here in Tempe, AZ (home of ASU). haven't drove past a gas station yet today. it IS disgusting how fast it's rising. i'm down to 1/2 a tank. since buying my car in Oct 07, it's risen from 28 dollars to fill my tank, to 42. Bleh! Oh and i'm in the

Over $11 a gallon and rising!  We have a gready good for nothing government though!
