resigning as Gov.  Linky

She better not run in 2012.  I can't handle that again.

make you think that one doesn't grow positively while following right wing conservatives..?  if that's what you're saying - then i agree.

As someone who has thought out the actual reasons why I believe the way I do, I understand not wanting to listen to the "propoganda" of an opposing viewpoint.  I don't watch TV, but I do go to foxnews.com for my news every morning (along with other completely unbiased sites like drudge).  I'm very unlikely to go to MSNBC or another site that I feel is liberally biased.

However, I think it's vitally important that people of different political beliefs listen to each other and ask question about why they believe what they do.  That's how cooperation and tolerance is born.

Right now, both parties use the kneejerk hatred of each other to their advantage.  It's amazing how much liberals and conservatives actually have in common.  They don't want us to know it though.  Because if we were to unite, we would kick all their corrupt asses out of power.

haha!  No, it just made it seem like you try to ignore conservative views in general.  I wasn't trying to attack you or anyhting, and i went back and read some more of your posts that indicate you DO watch a variety of news(views).

It's funny, lately on here, I ask people to clarify things, and they think I am attacking them.  I try to use phrasing and punctuation so people understand its an actual question, but I think people like to argue and assume the worst.

Lol! Smiley faces. I swear if you use them people are less inclined to take it as attacks. Just conversation for clarification if you use the smiley faces. :)

likewise, i am just as unlikely to visit faux news online or any other site i feel is conservatively biased.  and again, i have acknowledged the fact that i understand and do indeed feel it is important to listen to others and question things, etc. [edit: as these are attributes i greatly admire in president obama, and i do indeed wish i had the patience to find these qualities within myself. alas, perhaps with age myself..]

it honestly sounds like you aren't that different from, except coming from the opposite side.

it's quite difficult for me to listen patiently to someone such as trent lott, sean hannity, etc. speak. and don't even get me started on crazy rush limbaugh..

hotfuss: i wasn't trying to attack you either! :) i was just a bit confused as to what you were referring to.

I gotcha.  I think we just get too caught up focusing on differing ideology when we should focus on the different experiences that usually cause them.
