PANERA FANATIC.. have i been tricked??
okay im sure u all have gone to panera and gotten a French baguette as your side. on the website it says it is 160cals for 2oz. Is the actual baguette they give you 2 oz, or is it much much bigger, and we;re all being misled. cas i know that 3 oz of meat is the side of like a casette

I may be way off on this but I'm assuming that since a baguette or most any other risen bread is, well... risen and therefore less dense than another food, such as meat, a particular portion of it (2 or 3 oz.) would appear to be larger in size.
Does that make any sense or do I really just need to get some shut eye. ^_^;;
that does make sense, and thank god. i was having a panic attack lol cas i eat the french baguette with chicken noodle soup soo much
it better only be 2 oz!!! that's what i label it as.. heh.. :) mmm.. now i'm in the mood for that yummy nummy black bean soup.. mm..
I came on here specifically looking for the answer to this question. Has anyone confirmed? That piece of bread is pretty large, and on top of that the calories on here compared to the panera website are a 30 cal spread?? Anyone have any idea why? Or what the accurate number actually is? Please? I'm a panera fanatic (especially over the winter with the soups!)
