learned something new i guess.  Though i must admit, Panera is good if you plan ahead.  I went there last night for dinner and got the lowfat vergetarian vergetable soup (only 90 cal) with an apple on the side.  I was so full i didn't even finish the soup and ate only half of the apple!  Just remember to avert the eyes when passing the muffins...
At Panera I'll get the mocha with fat free milk and no whip -- it's not too bad. Maybe 200 cals? I don't think they offer the fat free milk for their I.C. drinks, tho, so if it's hot out, you probably don't want hot coffee...
panera used to be a favorite, but they are sneaky evil.  Even though some of their salads are relatively low calorie (379 for the Asian sesame chicken), everything on their sandwich, soup, and salad menu is astronomically high (like 1000mg - 2000mg) in sodium.  If you're on a low sodium diet, forget it, sadly . . .
you guys make me jealous! the closest panera bread to me is an hour away in erie pa. i haven't even been there since i've been eating better! i go about half of the time that i go to the mall there. if i had one here though i'd be eating french onion soup in a sourdough bread bowl every day... i'm not much of a coffee drinker though.

Panera is my FAVORITE way to lose weight!  Their tomato and mozzarella salad (NO BREAD) is great!  Order 1/2 size with a 1/2 size fat free bean soup and you're full for the day, tons of nutrition, and save the apple if you have room for dinner.  I love this treat!

I've learned to modify all of my favorite things to make them more weight-loss-friendly.  You can make those coffee drinks with skim milk or even 2% instead of whole - lose the whipped cream for sure!  Changing small things like that will allow you to fit a nice treat into your daily limits Smile

I personally enjoy a vanilla iced coffee from Dunkin Donuts with whole milk instead of that heavy cream (about 1/2 cup) and Splenda.  Its the best!
