I use garlic/cheese focaccia bread sliced in two pieces and use fat free cream cheese. The reduced grams of fat in the nonfat cream cheese is exactally the same as the increase in fat grams in the focaccia bread. So total fat stays at about 9 grams.

Recipe Ingredients for Panini turkey/cranberry sandwich

2 slices sourdough bread or 1 slice garlic/cheese focaccia (5x4 piece)
1 tablespoon cream cheese or 2 tlb fat free
1 1/2 tablespoon cranberry sauce
2 1/2 ounces turkey
2 slices tomato

Recipe Directions for Panini turkey/cranberry sandwich

Slice the focaccia in half so you have 2 thin pieces. It holds up well and you can load it up with any vegetables you want plus all the ingredients. Occasionally I add peperchinis for some spice. Make it panini style using Pam spray for a crunchy and filling sandwich. The original recipe calls for Asiago cheese 100 calories more and mayo but I omit these and save calories.
