Ok.. So i'm really into everything paranormal. Unfortunately I haven't had many experiences.. But, here's the one that I can remember.
Grandma and I (she was a psychic) were driving in the car. We went past the scene of an accident and her spedometer started going from 0-to the maximum, back and forth back and forth (she was maintaining the same speed, though). I asked her what the hell was happening and she told me her spedometer was doing that because the guy who was in the accident was fighting for his life. As soon as we passed the seen of the accident (like, literally, right after) it just stopped and went to the right speed!!
She could never wear watches and stuff because they would go backwards or break, it was really weird.
Please share any paranormal experiences with me!! I'd love to hear them.

I have a ghost in our house. I see it nightly going from the bathroom into my oldest daughter's old bedroom. My hubby has seen it too. We never told our daughter cuz she would of freaked LOL
Oh and I used to listen to coast to coast when I had insomnia and would wake up at 3am and couldn't get back to sleep -- freaky show.

spoiled candy-thanks for the link.
Dbackerfan- What kind of ghost is it? What does it look like. What's your house/property like?

during my first year of university we (my roommate and i) had a ghost in our dorm room. Our room was in the basement of our building and our building was really, really old. We had a bathroom in our room and i always had to get up in the middle of the night like at 4 a.m. and go turn off the faucet in the sink. this was like hours after we had gone to bed and were sleeping soundly. my roommate was always too freaked to go turn it off, but she (the ghost) never did anything destructive... we would hear her walking (we said it was a she because we lived in an all girl's dorm) sometimes and every now and then she would lock the door to our room when we would deliberately leave it unlocked because we were just going to ask something to teh girls who lived across the hall and could see our door the whole time we were there. that was more annoying than scary.
wow, untertherainbow.. That's some freaky stuff. That thing about your son sent chills down my spine. They say, which i'm sure you've heard about this, that kids do start off with a 6th sense, and it's us (the adults) that kind of shut it out by telling them "it's just their imagination, etc". I'm sure your son has seen your family members. If you want him to develop a "6th sense", encourage him to tell you about who he's seeing, and don't tell him it's just his imagination. Don't know whether or not you want to do that, but that's what i've heard you should do.
That's cool, stephanie!! The faucet thing is really weird. I hate waking up in the middle of the night because they say that's when spirits are most active. It freaks me out.
That's great that you're encouraging it, undertherainbow. I would like to see your son when he almost falls. I know that sounds weird!! But, it would be interesting to see.
Have you taken any pictures of him when any of this is happening? I would be interested in seeing any of them.

That easter bunny thing is freaky! I've always been creeped out of battery powered stuffed animals and stuff since I saw a scary movie (I don't remember which one though)
LOl. My mom says my sister looks like chcukie without her make up.
We used to have a Confederate Soldier ghost hanging around our house, quite lost. The first time I saw him I was probably around 10 or so and he woke me out of a dead sleep by standing in the middle of my room and just staring at me. Later on I saw him and his horse while I was playing outside. He has since gone to the light once he figured out he was dead, but it was rather interesting to have him around. (We live in Colorado and looked up the history of our area while he was around and we figured out that there had been a battle on the mesa we live on, and he hung around us because we could see him.)
We also have an Indian shaman who can shapeshift wandering around our house sometimes. And don't let me go to the Hotel Colorado- I'll find just about every ghost there. ;) Or I could when I was younger.

The neighborhood I lived in about 7 years ago had 2 haunted houses. One of them was right next to my best friend's house and it was pretty much abandoned (it was up for sale and had been for years supposedly). Anyway there was this ghost woman there... I don't remember if she was real or if I was just imagining it because everyone kept saying "there's a ghost woman... don't you see her?" but it always felt so cold and eerie around the house. I hated going to my friend's house alone because I was terrified.
And down the street at this girl's house who was about 13 when I was 6 or 7...my brother and I went to her house one day to play monopoly and there was a man who looked sort of homeless in her porch. He told us that her family didn't live there anymore and so my brother and I got freaked out and ran home...except the next time we talked to our friend, she said she was home and that was just the ghost who lived there.
But both of these experiences were about 10 years ago.

I love this topic. The paranormal is real. I have had my own experiences as well but don't like to talk about them normally cause the few people I have shared with never respond in a good way.
There is so much out there that is unexplained that it amazes me when people are narrow minded.
well just wanted to share.

I believe in the paranormal too. I try not too... because I get paranoid and it scares me most of the time. Actually once I start watching those psychic shows (like with Sylvia Brown) I think about it all day and night and then I can't sleep LOL. Actually two of the things I remember from watching those shows was a lady who witnessed a ball rolling back and forth down her hallway when there was nobody else in the hallway. Another (this is most interesting) was another lady and her family went on vacation and took a picture. When they got the film developed, there was a giant (angel) wing in the corner and took up a good portion of the photo. She said there wasn't a bird in sight or anything... but it showed up on film. The psychic told her it was her angel and even gave her the name of the angel.
I also like watching those "most haunted places" shows on travel channel... but they freak me out waaay to much.

Great stories everyone. Keep 'em coming!

I love this post. I like reading about all the experiences people have had. I have had several experiences ever since I was a very young child. My parents really thought I was crazy. As an adult, I have learned to be very careful who I share experiences with. There was this one time, where I warned a total stranger not to take that vacation trip with her friends. (I was visiting a good friend of mine, and she was her neighbor) She was like how do you know I am going on a vacation I don't know you. I told her just please don't go, something terriable will happen to you if you go. Okay fast forward to two weeks later, I was visiting my friend again and this lady came to me and told me that she didn't go on that trip and that her friends had been rear-end by a semi and if she had been in that back seat, she surely would of been killed, since nothing was left of the back of that car.
Wow, momofasoldier. You have some kind of gift. Do you meditate? That would help you develop it more. I'm jealous!
Yes I have, but not on a regular basis. There are times I don't want this gift, it can get scarry. When I was younger it was very strong but I felt like I was causing things to happen, if that makes sense. I could email you some stories that I wouldn't want to share with everyone if you would like.
go ahead!! I would love to hear them. I will message you my e-mail address.
When I was about 10 years old I got really sick with pnemonia. I was sleeping in my room when I suddenly awoke, I was really hot and started seeing stars like I was going to pass out. My room got really bright and I was scared but there was no where for me to go so I just sat there on my bed. I looked down to the end of my bed and there was a little boy faced away from me praying. I couldnt say anything or scream so I just waited, he turned to me and I suddenly felt better. I knew he wasnt going to hurt me, and I knew I would be ok. The next day I started to get better. No Joke.
wow, massageon. THat's amazing!!
