Ok.. So i'm really into everything paranormal. Unfortunately I haven't had many experiences.. But, here's the one that I can remember.
Grandma and I (she was a psychic) were driving in the car. We went past the scene of an accident and her spedometer started going from 0-to the maximum, back and forth back and forth (she was maintaining the same speed, though). I asked her what the hell was happening and she told me her spedometer was doing that because the guy who was in the accident was fighting for his life. As soon as we passed the seen of the accident (like, literally, right after) it just stopped and went to the right speed!!
She could never wear watches and stuff because they would go backwards or break, it was really weird.
Please share any paranormal experiences with me!! I'd love to hear them.

I love hearing about stuff like this.. other peoples expieriences and such.. but I am way too scared to have anything like this happen to me. You always hear of peoples' parents and family members coming back to "visit" when they pass... but I told my parents NEVER to stand at the edge of my bed to visit. Itd freak me out!! No thanks! LoL
Well my grandfather and my dog have passed. My grandparents lived with us for a year, and my room is now my grandparents old room. I've never had any experiences with him re-visiting me, but I guess this wasn't his homeland or where he spent most of his time...that won't happen. But for the longest time, after my dog passed, I swore I heard him barking (really faint...) but that's probably silly. Pets can't come back can they?
backtobasics-- Actually you'd be really surprised, there are a lot of accounts where animals have come back to visit their owners. I know it sounds weird, but i've read and heard numerous things about it.
I think pets come back - we had a cat named April May for years. We got her when she was 2 and she passed away at about 13. She used to love to sit up on the end of my bed and look out my window. Well we got this new cat, Peanut, about a month and a half after April died. And for the longest time Peanut would come into my room and just stare at the end of my bed. Her eyes would get all diliated and she'd hunker down in kind of a submissive position and just stare.
I think my house is haunted too - I'd wake up from a dead sleep in the middle of the night facing the wall and have this horrible feeling that if I turned over towards my room and the door someone would be standing there watching me. It was awful, my heart would start racing and everything, but whenever I turned over nobody was there. I have never ever had this happen at anybody else's house, including the apartment I've been at with my boyfriend for the last year or so. Also, sometimes we'll come home and the radio in the living room will be on. Nobody ever uses the radio, and there isn't a remote somewhere that one of the pets could be sitting on. But we'll come in and it'll just be on out of nowhere.
My boyfriend's parents' old house was haunted too - same time everynight there'd be these footsteps going across the family room ceiling and their dog would start freaking out.

In our house, we've always had this door that doesn't work very well. It sticks and is hard to open. We've changed the knob, tightened the screws, even replaced the entire door. We've done everything except move where the door is! Well, before there was a house on our lot, a small private plane crashed in our yard. The pilot was killed. We never actually believed it, until we met the wife of the man (actually her, not a ghost), so now we believe that it's the ghost of this pilot. It's the only thing that makes sense.
I think there are many places that are haunted, and it just depends on the person, and how willing they are to accept the paranormal activity. Like my house.. I have this light, its a touch sensitive lamp on the floor in my living room. The other night I was sitting on the couch with my boyfriend and it came on.. automatically... he went over and turned it off. About 10 minutes later, it came on again and he did the same thing.. I just gave him the "look"... you know, the "Im scared shitless" look, and he unplugged it. He says it was because the bass on the home theater system was too high (we were watching Sopranos) and the vibration on the hardwood floor made the lamp go on and off. Funny thing... we have the exact same lamp on the other side of the entertainment center (its in the center of the 2 lamps) and the one on the right side NEVER goes on by itself. The one on the left has done it a handful of times. Mind you, this is my new house that I just bought and have only lived in for almost 2 weeks now. If things like this happen to me, I always find someway to justify it... I just dont want to believe its happening ya know..?
Oh! and another thing.
We went to Charleston quite a while ago, my brother was still a baby, and before digital cameras. And while we were there, my dad took my brother on a walk. Well, it was blazing hot and the only shade was a cemetary. So they went in there to cool down, and my dad took a couple of pictures. We took tons of pictures while we were there, but the only ones messed up are those ones in the cemetary! They have little red glowing spots all over them. Even the other pictures on the roll are fine, just the couple of my brother at the cemetary are weird.

undertherainbow-- I don't watch ghost whisperer, but I LOVE "A Haunting" on Discovery channel. I tivo it every time it's on!
Nuggetbrain-- That's creepy. It always gives me the creeps when my cats stair off into space like they're looking at something that I can't see... Creepy kitties. My mom's cat, Meatball, always does that and we say he sees dead people, like from the movie the 6th sense.
Alilfranroy- I would believe that it's the pilot. It's the property that's haunted, not the house. Cool story.

alilfranroy-- I would love to see those pictures!! Do you have a scanner? If not, that's cool. I just love looking at that kind of stuff.
Yeah, I've got one, but it'll take me a while to locate the pictures. I'll let you know.
Wow that would be awesome to look at.
When I was 12 we used to live in a haunted house. One time I remember vividly was when I felt a real cold chill passing through me from behind and then down into the basement. At that time we had a siamese cat, who not more than four seconds later came flying up the stairs with all it's hairs standing on end. To make it even the more spookier, the stereo turned on by itself played for a few seconds and then turned back of.
This took place around 1976 and it was not a remote control strereo. My sister was the only one that never got fazed by any of the goings on. TV changing channels, not remote either. Lights going out, my dad would go to change thinking the bulb was burned out but they were always okay.
I was so glad when we moved out of that place LOL

I also forgot to mention. Last night I was over at a friends place who I have not seen for a long time. Anyway I walked by one of her hamsters cages and could have swore I saw two hamsters in there. Her hamster not half a second later must have seen the same thing as it screamed and went and hid. My friend was freaked as she said it has never done that before.
She told maybe it saw the ghost of a hamster passed as it was in the same cage as a hamster that had died recently. I just wonder if that is what happened.

I think its totally possible for animals to come back.. thats crazy!
About the house mrwolfie... I dont know what I'd do.. I'd be so scared to be alone.

mrwolfe-- That would be enough to scare me!! My dvd player turns on by itself all the time, but I chalk it up to the cats stepping on the remote.
In 1997, a group of about 12 of my friends jumped into 3 cars and headed down to Coconut Grove. I forget why, but I didn't go with them that night. One of the cars was involved in a bad accident, and one of my friends ended up not making it. She was gone before the paramedics even arrrived on the scene.
Fast forward one month and my ex-girlfriend decides to move into her old room in a 2 bedroom apartment to help out our other friend make rent, which she couldn't do on her own. It didn't take long for things to get really weird. Dresser dawers would always be opened, pictures would be moved around, and the radio would always be turned on in the middle of the night at full volume. At first, my ex and I thought it was a practical joke by her roommate. So I hid the radio remote, took out the batteries and waited. About a week later at the exact time of her death (11:23 pm), the radio turned on by itself and slowly the volume dial on the front went to full volume. Kinda scary to sit there and watch the volume dial move on its own...You could always feel her presence in that room.

yalcekim-- Seeing that dial turn would freak the f**k outta me!! I honestly don't know if i'd sit there and stare, or run the hell outta there.
wow yalcekim, that gave me the chills! i've never had anything paranormal happen to me, but i totally believe in it. these stories are fascinating!
Gave me chills too!! There's this show...forget whats the name or what channel...but they use these 2 psychics to help unravel murder mysteries. It's awesome, anyone know what show i'm talking about?
guera - to answer your ? from pg 1 - all I see is a shadow so I have no idea what kind of ghost it might be. I just see something going between the bathroom and the bedroom door.
I was a huge fan of the X-Files and even now still have my poster I want to believe" on my bedroom wall
