Parnormal Stuff

Quote  |  Reply
Ok.. So i'm really into everything paranormal.  Unfortunately I haven't had many experiences.. But, here's the one that I can remember.

Grandma and I (she was a psychic) were driving in the car.  We went past the scene of an accident and her spedometer started going from 0-to the maximum, back and forth back and forth (she was maintaining the same speed, though).  I asked her what the hell was happening and she told me her spedometer was doing that because the guy who was in the accident was fighting for his life.  As soon as we passed the seen of the accident (like, literally, right after) it just stopped and went to the right speed!!

She could never wear watches and stuff because they would go backwards or break, it was really weird.

Please share any paranormal experiences with me!! I'd love to hear them.

yalcekim - freakin out over here!! LoL Thank god the suns up!
when I was a kid the house we lived in odd stuff used to happen occassionally.  The ceiling had been stacco'd and you'd be walking and see bits of it fall in front of your face yet, when you looked down at the carpet there was nothing there, even tho the carpet was dark brown and it should have showed.  Once when I was about 8 I was sleeping in my top bunk and it was early morning, all of a sudden I got shoved hard against the wall and there was no one else in my room and my door was closed.

tankgirl - what did your parents say when you told them?
Alright, I will share one more little story about my friend. You know the sound a water bed makes when you shift your weight on it? It makes a gurgling sound, you can hear the water moving around?  OK, so one night I am in th at bedroom by myself working on the computer, its late its dead quiet, I got my back to the bed. I'm sitting there alone and I start hearing that unmistakeable sound of someone on the waterbed, moving around. The hair on the back of my neck stands up because I know I'm alone. I turn around and and look at the bed and it is slowly moving as if someone had just gotten out of it. I can never look at a waterbed the same way.

I never saw her, never had a vision of her, but you could FEEL her in that room. I was never scared or frightened because I knew who it was...just a little freaked out from time to time...

tankgirl - did anything else happen after that? or was it a one time occurance?

backtobasics - im right there with ya!!! I LOVE to hear about situations like these!!  Keep em coming!
Wow yalcekim your stories are pretty freaky eeek. I was around 14 when all the wierd stuff was going on where I lived. Unlike you though I was scared because I think the spirit was trying to make us leave. Who knows ....
Ok, I don't know if this is a sleeping problem or a real experience, but:

It has happened a couple of times, where I am falling asleep in front of the TV in the living room, or in my bed.  I can hear everything around me:  the TV, my bf talking, my dog, my cat, etc..., but, I am completely and utterly paralyzed.  I can see everything going on in the room as if my eyes were open, but they are really closed.  I feel a horrible sense of fear around me, and I try to scream for help, but I can't.  I am sometimes able to look around the house, even though my body is lying down.

My dr has chalked it up to being in between 2 stages of sleep, along with sleep deprivation.  I don't know if I agree.  PLEASE don't think I'm crazy!  Just want to know if anyone else has experienced this.....?
I used to have some "activity" in my apartment. Lights and electronics would turn off and on, the radio would flicker and I'd always smell a distinct flowery perfume. Sometimes I'd feel a hand on my shoulder that would jerk me back. I live right by a cemetary so I figure that explains it. It really scared me at first, but then when I was able to not go all paralysied and speechless I'd just say "I'm not in the mood for this right now." and it'd stop. Once I saw an old lady in my kitchen. I figured that was who had been doing it.

Sometimes when I'm home alone I just talk to her and tell her she's welcome to come out if she wants, and that I'm in a good mood that day. But.. nothing ever happens. lol

I also have a friend who when he was a kid living in Britain, he had an upstairs room in an old townhouse. He doesn't remember it, but his parents say he'd come downstairs all the time saying the soldier in his room told him to leave. When they asked him to describe the soldier he descibed a man in red and some other details. They found out a while later a british soldier (who wore that uniform) had hung himself in that room.

Oh, and shaderkris1, look up Sleep Paralysis. I used to have a serious problem with it. If you can try giving into the feeling and slip further into it, then imagine some sort of fantasy, like flying. Lucid dreaming is really easy to do with SP, and a totally awesome experience!

I have visions (in a dream state) of future events. Jobs I knew I was going to get before I interview. Saw my Aunt's house before we travel 3000 miles to see it.  The injury of a pet before it  happened.  Men I would date that I didn't  know for years.

I think a lot of people have these visions, they are just used to them so they don't bother with it. I've had my first one at 9 and I'm 37 now, no biggie.

I totally agree with the bad visions. I dreamed when I was 11 of my husband's eyes, a green-blue is unusual and I had seen it 20 years earlier. I met him when I was 31.
*Potential Paranormal Activity*

So, my mom lives in a really old house, and she's been hearing knocking.. When she's asleep, she'll hear talking (it's not in her dream), and she'll wake up talking to someone, although she's alone.  The part of the house she lives in used to be a planned parenthood, so that may have something to do with it.

So, tonight I'm going over there and brining a voice recorder.  As some of you probably know, voice recorders pick up on stuff that human ears can't.  We'll see what happens.  I'll give an update tomorrow!!

guera - I cant wait to hear about that!! Although, a planned parenthood? What does that have to do with anything?
Cocowan- give it a try.. What do you got to lose?

stlgirl-- Well, I assume that there was a lot of emotion with the people that went into the planned parenthood.  Spirits tend to hang around places that caused them a lot of emotion, whether it be good or bad..
