Parnormal Stuff

Quote  |  Reply
Ok.. So i'm really into everything paranormal.  Unfortunately I haven't had many experiences.. But, here's the one that I can remember.

Grandma and I (she was a psychic) were driving in the car.  We went past the scene of an accident and her spedometer started going from 0-to the maximum, back and forth back and forth (she was maintaining the same speed, though).  I asked her what the hell was happening and she told me her spedometer was doing that because the guy who was in the accident was fighting for his life.  As soon as we passed the seen of the accident (like, literally, right after) it just stopped and went to the right speed!!

She could never wear watches and stuff because they would go backwards or break, it was really weird.

Please share any paranormal experiences with me!! I'd love to hear them.

guera - hmmm I guess the planned parenthood in your area is different than mine.  They only do exams at mine.  No abortions or anything like that..  Its just like a normal doctor's office.  You cant get an abortion in Missouri though, you have to go into Illinois.  This could be the difference.   Good luck though! I cant wait to hear what you find..  :)

I hear this is something that you have to hone (work on sharpening) anyone else hear that?
stlgirl-- I don't really know about the planned parenthood thing..  All I know is that the house is really old (anywhere between 150-200 years), so, depending on how long ago they had it there, there may have been abortions.  I may be completely off base, and it may not have anything to do with it, though.

cocowan-- żżI'm confused??

guera, you  have never heard of trying to sharpen one's ability?
cocowan-- Yeah, i've heard about that.  I was just confused about how you worded it.  Didn't make sense.  Yeah, if you want to hear voices by yourself, you've got to meditate..  I'm to scared to start on that, though!!  The whole tape recorder thing scares the s*it out of me, and fascinates me at the same time.

im like that with the whole topic... it scares the shit outta me, and intrigues me at the same time!
My mom's side of the family is psychic. Here's a few stories I can share.

I have an aunt that can see spirits and knows when a spirit is near her. She also knows when a family member is about to die because she tells us a little old lady shows up at her bedside the day before someone dies. Freaky stuff, but I have more.

My uncle can also sense spirits around him and he says that when he visited our home, there was a little demon in the house and he spent about two hours trying to cast it out of our home. He says it's out and that he asked a guardian spirit to keep any other demons away. Haha...

I've been getting premonitions that have started just about a few months ago. It's weird because it's just like a flash in my eyes and I can see a few seconds/minutes/hours/days into the future and it just happens at random times. (Think "That's So Raven" but for real.) For example, I had a premonition that one of my guy friends would get his leg broken from playing soccer. I told him this and he didn't believe me. But then the next couple of days it happened.

Another example was when I was in a movie theater watching a movie and I had a flash that the movie would cut off in 30 minutes. Well, you guessed it. I was kinda freaked out when it happened to me at first but then my mom told me that her whole side of the family had some type of paranormal stuff going on and she said it's probably from our native american and african roots. lol I thought that part was funny but yeah, I've had quite a few premonitions and as far as I know they've all come true.
Lilydream35-- That's really cool that that stuff has been happening to you.  Start writing it all down if you haven't already.
Growing up my oldest brother had an imaginary friend named Mr. Harley. I never saw him, but my brother used to talk to him for hours. When we were moving out my mother was talking to our neighbor and our neighbor mention something about when Mr. Harley lived their. My mom was shocked and immediately started questioning Mrs. Green. Come to find out a Mr. Harley had owned the house before we did and had a heart attack and passed away.

I also have an aunt who says when she was about 5 she swears she was abducted by aliens. My grandmother says she believes it was true. When my aunt was 5 she said she saw something looking in her window. She got scared pulled her covers over her head and went to sleep. She dreamed that about a bright light and a neighborhood playground. When she woke up she was in her bed but her feet were all dirty and her back hurt. She told my grandmother what happen, my grandmother just thought it was a dream. Well she kept complaining for days that her back hurt. So my grandmother looked at her back and there was something stuck in her back. They took the whatever it was out of her back. It was about the size of I dunno the medal part of a pen. It was some kind of medal. They took it to a lab, but the lab couldn't tell them what it was. Weird.
jenakiss-- That's some freaky stuff!! Sylvia Browne (psychic whose on Montel Williams show a lot) talked about aliens.. She said there are aliens all around us, some of them are politicians!! I was like hmm, I could pick out a few politicians that could be aliens.  Whether or not what she said is true, I don't know.  It's funny to think about, though.  My mom's friend is convinced that Michael Jackson is an alien.

LOL .... that literally made me laugh out loud and the people in my office are staring... :)   Although, i could totally see why she would think this... hmmm we never know
Stlgirl-- It is pretty funny!  Especially since my friend's mom is the sweetest lady ever, and never says anything mean about anyone.  So, if she says it, it's that much funnier!!!

I've always thought that Steven Tyler was a charicature of Mick Jagger.
How creepy!!!! Wow this stuff is sooooo cool. I'm kinda glad I haven't had any paranormal experiences recently. It would just spook me out too much lol.

cocowan - I can TOTALLY see that!!!
Ok, here's my somewhat paranormal experience... when I was 15, my best friend died of Leukemia.  Because of the condition she was in when she died, her wake and funeral were both closed casket.  The only people who saw her in her casket before she was buried were her parents.  Within a month after her death, her grandmother, her little brother, and I all had the exact same dream about her.  She came to us and told us that she was ok and not to worry about her.  She looked very healthy and happy in the dream and she was wearing a pink and gray striped sweater and was holding a single red rose in her hand.  I never told anyone about my dream until a few years later when I was visiting her mother.  Her mom and I were talking about her and I told her that I strongly felt that she was ok because of a dream I had about her shortly after she died.  Her mom asked me to describe the dream to her and then she asked me if I remembered what she was wearing and I told her about the sweater and the rose.  Her mom turned absolutely white and said, "That is the exact same dream that her brother and grandmother had, and that's exactly what she was wearing when she was buried.  The only people who knew she was buried wearing that sweater and holding a rose were her father, myself, and the funeral director".  I just about fell off my chair when she told me that, but it made me feel so much better because then I really knew that she was ok.  Freaky, eh?
lizab-- That was enough to give me chills!
Ohh!! I have relatives that have had dreams like that lizab.

Sometime last year we thought my mom had breast cancer because there was a lump in her breast and we were waiting for lab scores to come back. My cousin told her mother (my mother's sister) that she had a dream where our late grandfather was just very very happy for some reason. My aunt called my mother and told her of my cousin's dream and said everything would be fine because of the dream my cousin had. Well a few days later we got the results back and it was NOT cancer.

Also, 2 years ago my grandfather (mentioned above) died and my great aunt died the day after him (both car related). Well my other aunt had a dream where my great aunt told her she was in such a happy place and that she was alright (she left behind 2 kids...grown, but they lost their father when they were kids).

my mom has more of these precognitions than I do. She told me when I was about 15 that she saw my dad dancing in a field and just under a tree and telling her that it would be okay. When he was buried it was in an area of the cemetary that wasn't used a lot and just under a tree. Mom didn't pick out the spot she just paid for it and then when we went to the funeral, of course we just followed the casket. I didn't make the connects for a few days and then I realized there he was alone in the field (cemetery) just right under the tree.
