Ok.. So i'm really into everything paranormal. Unfortunately I haven't had many experiences.. But, here's the one that I can remember.
Grandma and I (she was a psychic) were driving in the car. We went past the scene of an accident and her spedometer started going from 0-to the maximum, back and forth back and forth (she was maintaining the same speed, though). I asked her what the hell was happening and she told me her spedometer was doing that because the guy who was in the accident was fighting for his life. As soon as we passed the seen of the accident (like, literally, right after) it just stopped and went to the right speed!!
She could never wear watches and stuff because they would go backwards or break, it was really weird.
Please share any paranormal experiences with me!! I'd love to hear them.

undertherainbow-- Get a tape recorder and do it!! It would be really interesting. Put it in his room, but don't tell him or let it see it. That would be really interesting.
undertherainbow-I wanna go ghost hunting, too. But, the whole idea kind of scares me, still. I'd like to go to a cemetary and take some pictures, but I'd want someone to go with me, and I don't think anyone would want to.
I have a feeling that if I do pick up something on the tape recorder tonight, it'll probably spark my interest to be an "investigator" (Maybe just take some pictures and stuff).
I'm so excited it's sad... If I don't get anything tonight i'm going to keep doing it until I do get something.

my daughter is 16 months old, and I still have a baby monitor that I use while she sleeps because her room is down the hall from ours, and if she wakes up, its much easier to hear her. However, I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night because I hear "things" on the monitor. Now, the monitor is next to the window, so it picks up anything outside, and sometimes I can hear her breathing and the monitor is literally about 3-4 feet away. I find the whole thing weird.. but I just keep justifying it as "something outside" or "the wind"... its not voices, but I dont know what it is...
ok, I have a few....
First when I was about 5 or 6 my grandfather past away from cancer. Sometime after that I was dancing around my Nana's kitchen and when I turn towards the one wall he was standing there...I froze and I remember him lifting his hand as if to wave and I freaked out screaming. My mom and Nana didn't believe me - but he was there.
Second (and becasue of these intants they should have believed the first) both my uncles died in motor vehicle crashes. My youngest uncle died when I was about two and my oldest when I guess I was about 4 or 5. Both times my mom took me aside to tell me what had happened, I had interupted her bofore she could get to the "bad news" and told her that I would miss them and/or that she didn't have to tell me I already knew. I also did this when her long time boyfriend (whom I was very close to) died when I was six. I remember that time, but my mom told me the others.
Third my family and I had just moved into a new townhouse, where my room was in the basement. My boyfriend was staying with me for the weekend and I woke up in the middle of the night and saw a showdow of a man standing along the washing machine (lond story dont ask) He picked up his hand and waved to me. I woke my boyfriend up but he just told me I was being stupid, but someone was there.
Fourth I went to visit my grandmother who was very ill and in the hospital the night I had to return to college from spring break. I had a huge fight with my mom about wanting to stay home I didn't want to leave (my stepdad had just flown down to his parents becasue they were in a bad accident and she would have been home alone with my little sister who was about 4) Well she made me leave for school which was about a 2-3 hour drive. I kept missing all the turns and exits to get to the highway that would get me to school, every part of my body told me to stay home, not to go to school. About two hours into my drive I got this terrible feeling and I heard someone say love ya shnoop (my grandmother nick name for me) As soon as I arrived at school and had just finished unloading my stuff my roommate was waiting in the hall with the phone it was my mom calling to tell me my grandmother had died. That drive home was also the first time I heard Hole in the floor of heaven.
I also get "bad feelings" sometimes and have to call my mom and find out whats going on with everyone to make sure they are ok. The one time, my sister had gotten hurt at school, but we didn't find out until she got home. My father in law died in a car accident 9 days after my husband and I had gotten married and I was also pregant with my daughter at the time. I had cought both my kids staring at the walls of her home "at nothing" when they were babies and toddlers.
I have never lived in a haunted home - I dont think. But I love the paranormal. Keep the awsome stories coming.

guera - cute new pic.. made me laugh too! :) cant wait to hear the update tomorrow!! have a great night!
I've had similar situations like jengbert with regards to knowing what is going on before others do. It happened once with my friend who had committed suicide a few years ago, my grandmother when she announced she was engaged, and it happened just a few months ago with a co-worker's death. It was very subtle, though. I was downstairs talking to her (my co-worker), whom was very special. It always happens this way, but I had a random thought of "I wonder if I'll still be here (at my job) when she passes away. That'll be a sad day." I swear, the following week she was out, diagnosed with cancer, and died a few days later. Nobody saw it coming. So with me, it's not so obvious or with dreams, but more of a quick thought. Half the time, I don't really worry about it, or I make excuses, and let it go. Then, when that "something" happens, it trips me out.
On a funnier side, my grandfather had cancer for years. During his last few months, he had a hospital bed put into his house, and my uncle took care of him. One night, he woke up (he was unable to walk at this point), tried to get out of bed, and was in a panic. My uncle kept telling him that he had to lay down and calm down, but he wouldn't. My uncle asked why, and my grandfather said: "Because I'm gonna be late"......I'm gonna be late to my funeral....MOVE OUT OF MY WAY." My grandfather finally calmed down, fell asleep, and passed away. We didn't see him until my cousin's wedding. A picture was taken, and the sillouette of a body was next to the stage where she was saying her vows.
Ok, last one. My mother's best friend died 13 years ago. We have our suspicions about her husband, but whatever. Anyway, my mom has had MANY....countless dreams where her friend is sitting on the edge of her bed, or out in the dining room, talking and catching up on things. The funny part is, the dream is always knowing that her friend is dead. They talk about how much they miss eachother, and all the things that have happened since she died. The creepy part is, her husband (the one we don't like) has NEVER had a dream with her in it. He said it makes him sad that she doesn't visit him. I guess the dead know everything....even if the courts can't prove it, huh? LOL

Thanks backtobasics..Ahhh. I only wish I could get outta here to go listen to my tapes and be with my kitties!!
Really enjoying your stories. Had one of my own last night. About two in the morning my son's toy tool bench (which is not in his room) started talking (which is supposed to do when played with). It was during a thunderstorm but nobody was near it. It said, "Good job, the hammer goes there." "That is where the wrench goes." etc. Anyways, when I went in to check on it, everything was put where it belongs. I'm not sure which would be scarier ... a ghost or my son actually cleaning up after himself. At two in the morning it was very freaky.
Coincidentally, my grandfather, a carpenter, died a couple years ago.

I'm not really sure what I believe, mind you, but it is a great story, and right in line with this post. Reading this yesterday certainly helped with the creeping out last night!
That's crazy, lori.. I would've been freaked out!!
Lori - my daughter is 18 months old and has tons of toys that talk by themselves... I never think anything of it though, because its only happened a few times and then it never does it again.. but at 2:00am... whew, that wouldve made me crazy..
Does anyone have a story about those Ferbies? When my son's were younger they had one of those. It used to give me the creeps.. I took out the batteries and that thing would still talk.
mom - I used to hear that all the time.. i think they're just plain creepy in general... Ive never owned one though..
Certain dolls also freak me out, and clowns.. Although, its hard to find clowns as toys anymore...

Yes!! I used to line my ferby along with my talking doll "Amazing Amy" (she had magnet in her teeth and you would feed her whatever she asked and she would say 'oh yummy mommy or something'. Well one night I had a sleepover and the girls and I FREAKED out because it looked like my porcelain dolls, my amy dolly, and my ferby were staring at us (especially those creepy porcelain dolls. They're eyes practically glowed at night!!). We took the batteries out of the ferby and amy and they still talked. We screamed and threw them in my closet where they still talked.
