Past the halfway mark and in the 130s!

Finally!  I stepped on the scale this morning and it said 139.2.  I started at 160 7 months ago, and I've been in the 140s since the beginning of June, so it lookes like it takes me about 3.5 months to lose 10 pounds.  Hopefully, this means I'll be in the 120s by New Years and can hit my goal by my birthday at the end of April.

I've got 7 pounds to go until I hit a healthy BMI, a weight I haven't seen since high school (when it was not considered a healthy BMI), and I don't think I've seen the 130s since 2003 after I lost 6 pounds (over the course of a year) on weight watchers.  I try not to look to the scale too much as a measure of my progress, mainly because it goes so slow and fluctuates so much, but this was so exciting, I had to share.

Congrats!  Really exciting news and it's cool that you can see the "end" in sight.  Beating the halfway means it's still work to do but you're on that downhill part of your journey.  Way to go!

Thanks!  I've been eating 1600 calories a day, but I've recently decided to stay in the 1400-1600 range.
