A simple pasta dish with beans
| 1/2 | onion, finely chopped |
| 1 | tsp olive oil |
| 1 | clove garlic, crushed |
| 1 | salt and pepper |
| 1/2 | tsp oregano |
| 3 | oz cooked (or canned) cannellini beans |
| 200 | g chopped tomatoes |
| 3 | oz mushrooms, sliced |
| 2 | oz wholewheat pasta |
- Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a shallow saucepan and cook the onion and garlic until softened
- Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 10 - 15 minutes until the sauce is reduced
- Serve over cooked pasta
