I just stumbled across PB2.

I am so excited that I am ready to whip out my poor-college-student debit card and order it online.  But first, I was wondering about anybody's personal experience with PB2?

I am seriously a peanut butter addict.  I love it.  If I could only have peanut butter on light honey wheat bread with bananas the rest of my life... I'd be just fine with that.  But I'm sick of using only one 35 calorie teaspoon... totally unsatisfying... and apparently I could have a whopping 2 tablespoons of this stuff for only 50!

So, any tasters?  Is it delicious?  What can you do with it? I imagine toast, oatmeal, bananas, etc... anything else?

God I'm a loser for being so excited over this, haha.  But, seriously.  Peanut butter is a godsend.

oh my i found some PB2 in a health food store here recently - tried it - and nearly gagged/vomited on the spot.

i thought it was pretty gross myself Undecided

i wish i liked it - because the calories are so low!(compared with reg. PB)

I had heard so much about PB2 (both good AND bad), so I finally ordered two of the sampler packs a couple of days ago.  Should have it by the end of the week.  Am looking forward to trying it.  I much prefer super crunchy peanut butter, so we'll see.  I'm also going to try Better 'N Peanut Butter.  It's available at a Sprout's near me.  For now, I'm just measuring out a tablespoonful and spreading on a toasted slice of Sara Lee 45-calorie bread.

My PB2 arrived today and I just tried it.  While mixing it, got a wonderful peanut smell, and the texture was just like smooth peanut butter.  HOWEVER, tasting it was a BIG disappointment.  I put some on half a mini bagel and made myself eat the whole thing, just in case my first taste impression was wrong.  Alas, the rest of it has gone in the trash.  Not even going to try the chocolate peanut butter.  Fortunately, I just got the sample pack and the freight was free.  Of course, everyone's taste buds are different, but I just didn't care for it at all.

Actually the chocolate one tastes better, should have tried it since you already bought it. *shrug

In general I agree, peanut butter it is not. I used mine in cookies. Actually wasn't that bad. At least better when I just tried it on toast.

Okay, just rescued a chocolate peanut butter packet from the trash (it was on top

Smile).  I'll try it tomorrow.  Thanks for the heads-up, and I hope you're right.

PB2 is good when mixed with almond milk. Is that totally strange? Also, there's that Better 'n Peanut Butter stuff (100 cals per 2 tbsp), but the brand name is such a misnomer - it's not better than peanut butter. No PB substitute is, though I guess they'll do (for now).

I was also going to try the Better 'N Peanut Butter, but you weren't impressed?  They sell it at a market not too terribly far from me.  Maybe it's not worth it.  I'm beginning to think I have to resign myself to one tablespoon of regular peanut butter on a slice of toasted 45-calorie bread.  I guess that's not too bad, though it means spreading it fairly thin.  Oh, well.

Better 'n Peanut Butter is fine. It's tasty. As tasty as regular PB? No. But it's good enough for me. And, a little of it goes a long way. I put a half tablespoon on toast, and it's seriously plenty. For 25 calories, not bad amirite?

Thanks much, asphyxiac.  I think I WILL give it a try.  Will get it later this week when I shop there.

my wife loves it
