Ok, so it's nutritionally and calorically dense, I know it's good for you, but I don' tknow about you - 1 tbsp is not enough PB or Almond Butter for my apple! so I learned a trick I read on another diet website - take 1 or 2 tbsps of your favorite nut butter, mix it with about 1/4 cup of water, and microwave to get a desired consistency - you'll end up with way more nut butter for the dipping!

Cool, thanks for sharing! I love nut butter on my apples but, I agree one tablespoon is not enough.

That is a good idea!!!  I'm definitely going to try that.  I wonder if the lower fat PB will get the same effect.  Hmm...  I guess I'll find out soon enough.

Another thing that I love is PB2. It is powdered peanut butter you can buy online...but it is expensive, so your idea is really great!

I mix mine with fat free cream cheese, and a little water to make it go further.

What I like to do is take 1 TBSP of regular peanut butter, ~90 calories, and then mix that with about 2 TBSP of PB2, and add water of course. I get so much more peanut butter, and it's still much less fat and less than 150 calories.

Thanks for the tip! My only question is do you use 1/4 for BOTH 1 AND 2 Tbsp. of PB..or would it be 1/8 for 1 Tbsp?

It said 1/4 cup water for 2 tbsp PB so I guess 1/8 cup water for the 1 tbsp. I just kind of splashed a little on there.

I've heard the PB2 tip before but I'm not really into ordering foodstuff online. I'd rather learn how to eat normal food - I think it's more sustainable that way. Plus one of the thing that's so appealing about PB to me is the fat content. I love healthy fat :)
