Does anyone else eat this peanut butter? I'm not a huge fan of plain peanut butter, so I bought the Dark Chocolate Dreams one. I'll only eat it if I'm craving chocolate (reeses....). And I'll probably only eat 1/2 the serving size at a time (1 tbsp). Is this okay?
On a good note, the first ingredient is peanuts. Some of the peanut butters I looked at had like high frustose corn syrup (ew) as the main ingredient, and this doesn't even have any.
It's only 85 calories for a tablespoon, so is this okay to eat when I can't fight off a chocolate craving or I need to get my calories up?
(Btw, it tastes FANTASTIC.)
Yeah Ive tried the dark chocolate...it's really good. I got it at whole foods and they also had a cinnamon raisin (which I've heard is good) and a white chocolate flavor. yum :)
I think PB is a fine and delicious way to keep your calories up. I've tried the Cinnamon Raisin and it's so yummy.
Ooh yes. Try the White Chocolate Wonderful too!
It's not nessessarily as much as a "healthy" food like real pure PB because of the added sugars and saturated oils, but it should be okay if eaten sparingly.
I personally love the stuff. And honestly - if it fits into your diet, why not have it? It IS good quality stuff - PB&Co is all natural and they don't use additives life HFCS or fillers.
BTW any PB has SOME oils, and no-stir always has some saturated oils to prevent seperatation. It's really not that big of a deal. Saturated fats are not bad for you. And its certainly better to have a tablespoon or two of dark chocolate PB than to eat a package of Reese's Pieces or something.
aaargh I was so dismayed last week. I went to NYC on holiday, and wanted to visit their store in Greenwich village, (a pilgrimage for a hardcore peanut butter fan!) but I wandered around for ages and couldnt find it at all, I was so dissapointed. boo
Why do I get bad cramps after I eat?
