I always have a problem im slightly skinny on the top, and then on the bottom i shape out like a pear!!
I want to know some exercizes i can do that can help me slim down and mantain, a Skinny size.

Im ranked Medium and im Wanting to loose 30 lbs anybody??

I am the same way. Really thin on top but then I have the biggest thighs and butt! I am a size 4/5 and most jeans I try on fit me great at my hips/waist but in my thighs they want to explode. Anyways lately I have been doing lunges and squats and my bottom has really toned up and gotten smallers.

i am a pear too. when i lose weight i feel like its all in my stomach and chest but my thighs are still huge! i found that lots of cardio ((on the elliptical and treadmill)) helped to slim them slightly and using the weight machines, lunges, and squats helped me tone them.
Three great exercises for thighs that doesn't involve machinery:

1. SEX!  If you're sexually active, have a willing participant, do the deed and don't be the lasy prick on the bottom.  Even if you're wobbly on top, keep at it.  If you get creative enough, you'll find a few magical positions that'll get your thighs one heck of a workout.  You'll also see a little shrinkage in your butt and a big gain in your personal self confidence.  Sex does wonders for those sorts of things.

2.  Lunges, indeed.  Try doing twenty-five lunges per leg.  If you want to make it interesting, track down some soup cans and carry them like hand weights.  It's a little harder because you can't really wobble your arms around to maintain your balance while trying to do a decent curl.

3.  Leg lifts, of course.  Lie on a floor, put a bouncy ball or a pillow between your ankles, and with straight legs slowly raise them around one to three feet off the ground, then slowly take them back down.

And when creativity fails you, check on YouTube for "Ten Minute Solutions" and watch the buns and thighs video.  There're also several others that're great for toning.

I'm also a pear, all my weight is in my thighs (and my thighs are muscular plus they have some flab on the inner side and on the back). Even my butt is of normal size. It looks particulary funny compared to my tiny calves.

I think running and lots of stretching exercises (some similar to pilates, but I do it at home, several times a day for 15-45 minutes, depending on how much time I have) have made me look a bit better and melted off a bit of the cellulite. I really don't want more muscles or I'd have footballer thighs.

Same question, except... could someone describe how to do the exercises, I have no idea what a lunge is.  And help my body is eating my boobs... I'm an A cup pear shape, I lost 7 pounds and my breasts are melting.  I'm a pear shape like everyone here, so I could loose that seven pounds off my tush alone but no it goes for the top, is there any way to control where I loose weight from?  Or should I just deal with the fact that fitting into anything less than a 7 means I'm totally flat?
I feel your pain.  My body is pretty pearlike as well.  Upper body is decent, I an even see individual ribs when I just stand normally, but my lower body is a size 13.  I really don't get it. Whenever I diet my face gets all gaunt and I look sicky, but I've never dropped a pant size, even when I ran two miles a day for three months.  If a dress flairs out at the waist, I'm a size three; if it is form fitting, I'm a bloody ten.  The joys of womanhood.

You poor little babes!!!!  I have the same problem, however I am in my 40's and have age defiant hips and thighs.  Someone help me with an exercise program.  The weight just won't come off.  I'm walking, eating right and nothing.  I upped my cals this week I was doing 1200.  I'm 160lbs 5'3''.  I want to lose 15 to 20 lbs.
