I need to go shopping as well.  Today was payday for my hubby, so I will go later on today.
I just went grocery shopping yesterday!

Top shelf: Skim milk, soy milk, o.j., nonfat plain yogurt, whole milk plain yogurt (my DH's), fresh parsley in a cup of water, bottled water, and a pitcher of lemonade my DD made up yesterday

Next shelf (it's at eye-level so this is where I keep the leftovers so I won't forget about them): large bowl of gazpacho I made yesterday and will be eating every day for the next week, fresh pesto I also made yesterday, leftover whole-wheat rigatoni, 4 ripe bananas, pineapple, carton of eggs

Meat drawer: bacon (my kids and DH eat it), block of cheddar cheese... errr, not sure what else because I rarely go in there! Probably something moldering... I should check!

Next shelf: buffalo mozz cheese, feta cheese, hummus, capers, kalamata olives, pickles and sundry other nibbles & condiments

Last shelf: breads including whole-wheat sandwich bread, pitas, tortillas, bagels (which I never eat but my family does). Also a carton of diet cokes (my Dh's)

Veggie drawer: onions, garlic, gingerroot, broccoli rabe, red pepper, zhucchini, baby carrots, cucumber, baby spinach (avacodo and tomatoes are sitting on the counter)

Fruit drawer: strawberries, lemons, limes (apples are sitting on the counter)

The veggie and fruit drawer will be empty by Saturday - we shop for fresh a few times a week and we eat a lot of fruits & veggies.

Freezer is stocked with skinny cow bars, regular ice cream for the kids & DH, a handful of frozen meals, blueberries, corn, green beans, peas, flash-frozen shrimp, chicken breasts, and fish, meatballs, bocca burgers, ham from... eek, Easter!! - maybe time to throw it out!!, and a few containers of homemade soup I should eat to make more space.

Oh - and a slice of our wedding cake from Dec 2005. :-)

I really, really need to go shopping (TGIF!), but here goes:

  • Carrot sticks
  • Eggbeaters
  • Mushrooms
  • Laughing cow cheese wedges
  • Hummus
  • Granny smith apples
  • Yogury
  • Sugar free caramel pudding cups

I think that pretty much covers it...sad, huh?

No runner girl thats not sad.....

I have

Milk, OJ, Yogurt, Pickles, Olives, Mustard, Pepsi (my roomates), Celery, Tuna salad and bread.

Now thats sad

gluten free bread, soy milk, soy cream cheese, soy sour cream (I don't do dairy but the cream cheese and sour cream are my boyfriends :D) lettuce, red peppers, soy cheese (mine), relish, eggs, eggbeaters, water bottles, tofu, soynut butter, fruit preserves, mustard, apples, blueberries..

I could go on; I eat every three hours so I love a fully-stocked fridge. I also really like soy in case you couldn't tell ;)

I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, walnuts, ketchup, eggs, beer, wine, tapenade, lemons, limes, eggs, carrots, spinach, lettuce, red potatos, white potatos, celery, blue cheese, 2% milk, diet caffeine free Coke, eggs, cat food, dog food.  The 4 shelves on the door are full of condiments.  Everything from hoisin sauce and roasted red peppers to mustard and mayo.

The freezer is full of meat, fish and the "people food" I make and freeze for the dog.  :)

This probably isn't fair since I'm getting ready for vacation, but here goes:

  1. a dozen eggs
  2. a container of baby carrots
  3. a container of leftover brussel sprouts (gotta eat those today before I leave!)
  4. Pitcher of water and 3 carry along water bottles
  5. skim milk (gotta finish that, too!)
  6. pickled tomatos
  7. lowfat cheddar cheese
  8. reduced sugar ketchup
  9. 2 large containers of liquid egg whites

And in the freezer:

  1. 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  2. 6 sirloin tip hamburgers (96% lean)
  3. 2 pieces of pork loin for roasting
  4. 3 slices of beef liver
  5. 3 portions of top round london broil
  6. a bag of frozen diced green pepper
  7. a bag of frozen diced onion
  8. a bag of california mix vegetables
  9. 2 bags of Latino mix vegetable (corn, red pepper and black beans - YUM!)

All of my frozen meats are packaged in single serving sizes - vacuum sealed - so I only cook what I will actually be eating.  ( And, sad to say, I didn't even have to look to be able to tell you with that detail.  How food obsessed does that make me????)

Hmm...who can spot the weird college kid?

In my fridge:
~mustard
~several jars of pickles
~apples
~baby spinach
~leftover vegan tacos
~a few 2 litre bottles of diet soda
~half a case of Yuengling

  • parsley ready for Tabbouli

  • roasted chicken

  • green peppers  (I'm sorta getting tired of all these veggies)
  • plums
  • organic milk
  • applesauce  1/2 jar to mix my flax seeds in

maybe I'll buy some organic broth and put some of the veggies in a soup before it goes bad.
