how come some people.........
second, if you're doing exactly the same exercise routine every day, your body is probably getting too efficient at it. change it up a little; faster & shorter, longer, walk outside, jog a little, lift some weights, etc.
third, you're absolutely right: no use complaining! you're doing well.
Agree 1 lb per week is great. Plus you are probably building muscle while losing fat so the scale will not move as quickly but your inches as well as how you feel should be improving.
Incidentally, how tall are you? I am asking as I am thinking 1435 calories is too little for you and if you upped it just a wee bit you might find better results??
multiplying your weight by some constant doesn't take into account important variables such as height, gender and age, it's a overly-simplified cookie-cutter method of determining how many calories you need and way less acurate than other methods.
I also wouldn't believe anything I see or hear on the biggest loser.
You can trust the counters on this site sweety... they work for too many people for them to be grossly wrong. How many calories does the site recommend for you, and how many does it say you burn each day? As long as your intake is less than your outgo, you should lose weight... Super-fast weightloss is never healthy, and it doesn't usually stick around for long either.
Losing a pound a week is perfectly healthy and sustainable long-term - it might not be as fast as you'd like, but if you keep it up you WILL GET THERE!
Your BMR = 1706 EAT NO LESS THAN THIS! (you would burn this in a coma)
Everyday EAT (1706x1.2) = 2047 to MAINTAIN WEIGHT
Everyday EAT (2047-500) = 1547 to lose 1 pound per week. (not healthy to eat only 1547... remember do not go under your BMR of 1706!)
So eat 1706 and make up the additional calories by burning them at the gym (1706-1547) = 159 giving you a nice and healthy 500 calorie deficit for the day.
So, Eat 1706 and make sure you burn 159 calories at the gym.
If you workout a ton and burn 400 calories at the gym then eat =1547 + 400 = 1947
If you burn 300 calories at the gym then eat 1547+300 = 1847 calories per day.
I knw this is confusing but I hope that helps!!
I forgot to include my sources = http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/
Someone sent me this site and it really helped!
That is correct math, but remember do not eat less than 1706 calories or your body will go into starvation mode and hang on to all of your fat.
If you burn 325 calories at the gym then eat 1547+325 = 1872 calories per day.
Your formula* = 1547+ ["x" calories burned at gym] = [eat " X" calories per day].
*It is different for everyone. (My formula is different than yours calculated above)
If you follow that you should lose 1 pound per week (not taking in to account muscle gain and potential excess water weight)
Can particular foods increase testosterone levels?
