Well, my team and my coach noticed my weight loss because I have so much definition. I haven't gone back to school yet but I hope people notice!
I'm a bit depressed, because after losing 9kg / 20lb, absolutely no-one has noticed. :P It doesn't change anything, since I know I have become smaller - none of my old clothes fit me any more. But still... it would be nice if just one person would notice... :) Well, to meet my original goal I still need to lose another 5-6kg (11-13lb), so I wonder if anyone will notice after that.
At work tonight I worked with a guy that I hadnt worked with since a few days after I got my membership.. He was like "did you lose weight??... Like...Lots"??.. lol, I was like, well a bit over 10, not lots.. Once we finished catching up I turned to walk back to my desk with a big smile on my fave..lol.. yeeeeeeeeeeeah!
i think sometimes people notice, but they don't want to say anything.  or don't know what to say.

my daughter told me that someone had asked her if i was "okay" because i had lost so much weight!  he didn't want to ask me directly. . . maybe he thought i had cancer, or something.    and i just saw a former colleague the other day, who noticed right away, and also had that "concerned" look in her eye, so i told her right away i did it on purpose!   but also for me, it was a long time before most people noticed, and even when i was down 32 lbs, my own husband thought i had lost "about 10."

so don't worry, you are doing this for your own health, and comments from other people are nice to get, but not all that important!
I had an overweight coworker that I haven't seen in months notice my loss last week.  She was very hesitant to say anything, because, well, it could be misconstrued.  I was so happy that she did notice and say something, though--when she asked what I was doing, I told her about this site.

To me, the important thing is that I notice, and that my clothes notice.  Others have noticed, but not said anything (I can tell), but that's because (I think) they're trying to maintain a professional decorum.

Actually, I had someone stop by my cubicle.. two days ago?, I think.. and said something like "Well, it's obvious you've lost some weight. Congrats." and I'm like "Yeah, I lost 50 lbs."
"50 LBS?!?! GOOD JOB!"
Oh yeah everyone notices, and they all say something about it.
Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't.
i've had a lot of people notice, especially family members, but coworkers too. I've started to have people warn me about losing too much weight, but I assured them that I'll stop when I feel it's right
I've lost 10 lbs since June, and almost 20 overall, and my coworkers are just starting to notice (a couple of people have complimented me, which I like.  I don't mind telling them that I've been working out and eating right, I'm proud of it.)  I think, at least for me, people weren't noticing because I wear the same clothes I did when I was 20 lbs heavier, and since they're loose now you can't really tell what the bod looks like under them!

My treat to myself for losing the next 10 is to buy new clothes :)
Yeah, if someone asks me (again, like 4 years ago) if I'm losing too much weight, I assure them I'm working with my doctor and he's given me an idea of where i need to go. :)
The people who see me every day only started noticing recently.  I saw a friend who has been away all summer and she was amazed and told me so.  She was so happy for me!

There are a couple of people in my life who refuse to notice.  They haven't said a word.  I think they do notice and it makes them uncomfortable, either to see me change, or they take it as a reflection on themselves.  I still love them, but what they think doesn't matter.
Some of my coworkers noticed right away, but I think it was because I had been talking about it soo much! I have that problem with telling everybody my business especially when I'm excited about something! I've stopped talking about it so much fpr the past few weeks and nobody has said anything anymore. Although my boyfriend did tell me the other day that he thought the rolls on my back were going away! Although he didn't say it in those words he more of pointed to what he was talking about... "You're getting smaller... here" lol I love him though he has been my biggest support!
Some of my coworkers have noticed (I've lost 20lbs since March).  What suprises me is that anyone at work has noticed, since we all wear scrubs - ceratinly not the most flattering thing you can wear!
zoo, that IS surprising, it's very difficult to see anybody's figure in scrubs!
It's ironic--I've lost 56 pounds since late April, school ended early May, and many of my colleagues--I'm a professor--have noticed and complimented me.  :)

Some students were flabbergasted and said they didn't even recognize me in meetings last week until I got close and they saw my face (yes, they admitted they were used to knowing me from far away by my bulk, but now I'm not super big, just big).  That's a trip!

The weird thing, though, is that lots of people said things before classes started, but nobody has noticed--or at least said anything--since the semester began, and I've seen a huge batch of people for the first time in ages this week.  Oh, well.  Maybe because I'm still big they just don't notice.  Or, maybe they think it is rude to bring it up.

Either way, I know I look and feel better!  :)  After all, I went from 284 and a size 26 to 228 and a size 16 or 18.  I can even wear T-shirts in Larges and XLs now, whereas I was a 3X last winter.

Enjoy the little victories and your successes!  Being healthy does make a difference in lots of positive ways!  :D
I've had mixed results.  Some of my co-workers have noticed that I've lost weight (30 pounds) and they see me every day.  My in-laws and my sister-in-law who don't see me very often only noticed that my hair was a lot longer (I've been growing it out for the last year and a half).  I'd even splurged and bought things that fit me to look my best when I saw them.  Good thing I wasn't counting on them for moral support.   Still got a ways to go though.
Its hard for people who see you everyday to notice a change.  I lost 30 pounds over the course of one school year and my friend who i saw everyday didnt notice BUT she saw me everyday so i dont think she could have. Now we havent seen eachother in 3 months and i have lost another 5 pounds so mayeb she will say something in September. But i also have to say that she is very self absorbed so even if she does notice she may not say anything.

Every time i see ppl (family usualy) that i havent seen in a while they say that i look great. Last time I saw my aunt I had lost 20 pounds and she noticed. Ill be seeing her again at the end of September (15 pounds lighter than when she last saw me) so i cant wait for her reaction.
i think sometimes people notice, but they don't want to say anything.  or don't know what to say.

I've noticed that now on 2 occasions.. One was tonight actually, I ran into a close friend at the mall and I had just bought a new outfit that actually FIT me properly and she looked me up and down but didnt say a word.. She lives about 20 minutes away from me so I talk to her on the phone quite often but dont see her alot..

Another was a few nights ago when I went for dinner w/ a girl who was leaving my work and one of my co-workers who is off on medical leave showed up and I havent seen her for 4 months..Same thing, she looked at me, it almost looked as if she tried to get that "what happened here look" off her face..lol.. I also noticed when I got up she would look at me too.. No one else there did b/c they see me atleast 4 days a week
I get comments a lot due to the fact we have to wear our ID badges around work.  I still have my pic from the first day, at my maximal weight, so the contrast is pretty stark after 48 lbs.

I have had people voice concerns that I'm getting "too thin."  I assure them that my fat levels are still not quite to the healthy range, and that I plan to bulk up on muscle once I'm finally down to my first goal weight.

But in general, people are very supportive, and I think I've managed to at least pique the interest of a couple of people in terms of getting them to start working out as well.  For me that's the best feeling: knowing that my actions might lead others to healthy living as well.

ehh, nobody really says anyhting to me... it makes it a tad hard.
I think some of my friends (who are very materialistic and appearance
obsessed) have noticed I look better,  but they can't puttheir
finger on what looks better about me... even though I've lost around 25
lbs.  Maybe if they do notice, they dont want to say anyhting...
the only reason I htink people notice I look different, just maybe not
the weight loss is because I get compliments on pretty oridinary
clothes, like "those pants make your butt look good" or "nice shirt"
and stuff like that.
