Going off my highest weight of 210lbs, I'm at 158 now so that's 24.8% of my original weight.

Wow...never looked at it this way before...

Sometimes it helps me to think in terms of percentages when I am begining to feel like the weight is not coming off fast enough.

Same with physical comparisons. Yesterday I tried carrying three five pound bags of potatoes. It was a hassle and made my arms tired. Then I thought, this is what I have just lost... No wonder my body is always so tired!!
Way to go everyone!  It feels so liberating to be rid of the excess weight doesn't it.

I started at 221 and am down to 185 so about 16.7%.  What is even cooler is I started at 36% body fat and as of yesterday I am down to 28.1% according to my scale.  28.5 lbs of my weight loss has been body fat!  I have been working my butt off, literally, on the treadmill and I can feel a difference in my muscles, they are a lot more toned even though some of them are still under a layer of fat.

Oh, fun way to look at it!  I started at 195, I've lost 29lbs, so roughly 15%.
I'm down to 177 from 190 so that is 9% I think...
Mandakay, its closer to 7% but that is still awsome and better . than me *grin*

I have a tatiana scale. I started exercise and diet March 20 2007. I have lost 13 lbs and 5%  body fat.  I am  now around 25% body fat ..........yuck
