What percent of your body have you lost?

Quote  |  Reply
As of today I have lost 16.2lbs which is 5.3% of my original weight of 305.6.

How much have you lost?
Im down 10%

Goal is 38.7%
From my heaviest weight to my current weight I lost 27% approx.
Wow - that's cool :)
Almost 14%  I was at 186 now I'm at 161.  I am looking forward to being in the 150's by the end of the week.
I've only been at it a week...lost 2 pounds so that puts me at 1.4%

I suppose it's a start *lol*
How do you calculate precentage lost?
alizus: (The number you lost / your starting weight) * 100

Exemple. I have lost 9.1 pounds so far and I started at 153.5 so that means (9.1/153.5) *100 = 5.9%
So that would mean 18% so far.  Go me!  ha ha! :)

Thanks amoria00!
33% for me, so far

I started at 5'8 and 350, so 175 is my target...that would be a 50% reduction.
I started at 150 in September 2006, and am now 133, so...11.3% and counting
13% for me.  and good post!  always good to take a new perspective on things.
On 4-21-07 I was at 4%.  Now I'm at 5.25%!!
12% lost!  :-)

13%-16% to goooo
(depending on how I feel/look when I get to 130 lbs) yikes!
11%, not nearly enough.
If I did the math right, I have lost 12.5% of my total weight (which figures out to 33 lbs lost).  I still have a LOOOOONG way to go.

EDIT:  Just asked my hubby, the "math genius" (lol) how to do the calculations and I did it wrong.  according to him I have lost .0799 which converts to 7.99%.   Hmm.... think I liked my 12.5% much better.   ::sighs::
An update: starting 221, current 177.5 = 20% lost!  Goal weight 165 so 5% more to go.

How do you calculate it? In the beginign, I weighed 148 lbs, and now I'm 126. Could anyone help me out to find the percentage?
About 18% for me... chchtv11, you divide how much you lost by how much you weighed at the start, so you lost almost 15%!
Started at 290 and came down to 165. So about 40% give or take?
