10% by Christmas Challenge (CLOSED)
HELLO!!
This Challenge is only for COMMITTED CC users that are determined to achieve their weight loss goals!
Weigh ins will be on Mondays, we will start Monday October 13th with our starting weight and go 10 weeks through Monday December 22nd to work towards losing 10% of our current body weight. There will also be 2 bonus weigh ins one after Christmas (Dec. 29th) and one after the New Year (Jan. 5th)! To help keep our Holiday dieting in check!
Weekly weigh ins should be posted in this format:

Challenge rules:
1. If you miss the FIRST weigh in you will be taken out of the challenge and your spot will be offered to someone else! If you miss 2 consecutive weigh ins with out reporting anything you will be taken out of the challenge!
2. Add all other challenge members to your friends list! This way you can see all journal posts and I also encourage to comment on journal posts for extra motivation and to keep YOU on track!
3. You must report your weight no matter what... If you have a bad week I would still like you to post your weight! If you have a bad week It is fine but in order for you to keep on track you should be accountable for your stumbles here and there!
4.I encourage everyone to check this thread everyday and to post anything and everything that you want! Weight loss, fun facts, interesting stories, anything to help us get to know each other better!
Each participant that reaches their 10% goals will receive a badge to put up in their gallery for the achievement!

Good morning everyone! I'm taking advantage of the 2 added weigh ins.. =) it's not going to make much of a difference but oh well!
This week - 12/29: 146.8 lbs
Last week - 12/22: 147.0 lbs
Loss: .2
You can imagine how Christmas was... I really didn't do so bad but I did drink a couple of beers, ate food not prepared by me (mainly sodium) and didn't exercise as much as I needed to... I saw the scale go way up over the last few days but I know it was mostly water weight. Even the slightest of losses is welcome!
I need a little ass kicking.. Christmas was all eating and I just didn't care.. no excuses.

yay i am glad there are atleast a couple of you that are in for the bonus weigh ins! For Christmas I ate everything, and drank quite a bit of alcohol!

Quite a surprise to me! I have been lurking around 138-140 for a few weeks now so that is probably why! I feel good though I just got home from the gym! I haven't been in a couple weeks due to way to much work! so I am pleased today and am excited for next weeks weigh in especially because I am not drinking on new years so that wont accumluate any weight gain! :)
My parents' computer/internet are terrible so I haven't been online very much. Sorry for not weighing in last week, and congrats to everyone doing so well!
I'm going to end on a high note. I'm not sure how this will compare to my scale at home, but my mom's scale and her new wii fit agree that I am

hooray! not my goal, but I did turn it around a bit during the holidays finally. chasing my parents new puppy around probably helped. see you next week for the final verdict :)
Sorry this bonus weigh in is sorta late. I actually just forgot about it. Not much change though. I was up from Christmas still. Mostly phantom weight and by Monday I was back down to 127.

Yay I am only.1 away from my first goal which I need to reach by friday! Then I think I want to get down to 125!
