So cool that you asked because I was just about to post "three cheers for whole wheat pancakes!" A friend recommended the Aunt Jemima Whole Wheat mix and said she used sugar free syrup. I just made them this morning as a Sunday treat.
3 pancakes, 200 cals. (look on the box for prepared pancake cals cause they don't have that number here at Cal Count)
2 tblspns pumpkin butter, heated, 120 (which I bought at a farmers market)
Eaters Digest tea!
So eventhough 320 cal breakfast is a little high, I feel very full and satisfied and they tasted really great! You can also try lower cal toppings such as fresh fruit (ooo blueberries!) which will be next Sunday for me!
Happy eating!

Lately I have been having Total Honey Clusters. Lots of vitamins and tastes good.
I'm weird in that I don't particularly like sweet things for breakfast (or at any other time of the day really)- which means cereal, yogurt, and all that jazz is out. I do occassionally eat oatmeal, but that's about it.
I mean, why do we eat sweet things for breakfast anyway? I think American/European cultures are really the only ones who do.
For me, the ideal breakfast is one of the following: WW baked tortilla chips with fresh salsa, WG baguette with mashed avocado, polenta with veggies, cheese quesadilla, egg sandwich/burrito, etc.

I don't know if I'd call it perfect but I've been eating this for months:
oatmeal with 1 teaspoon brown sugar, crushed pecans, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and 1/4 cup skim milk. I just LOVE it.
Jburbank, Politica, and Raggydoll -- your breakfasts sound GREAT. I'm going to have to try those!

My perfect breakfast is a ham and cheese omelette (to make it healthy I use low-fat cheese and Egg Beaters) with a piece of fruit... cantaloupe, an apple, a banana. Yum!
Breakfast is my fav meal of the day/
I love either
Oatmeal - 60% oats, 40% chopped up banana, cooked in so its warm and squishy, cinnamon, with a cup of milk on the side
Toast - little bit of peanut butter on crispy toast always hits the spot.
Crumpets - 1 wholemeal crumpet and a tsp of my light marg is about 100 cal leaving room for milk, fruit or sometimes cereal! (WEETBIX)
2 weetbix in half, 1/2 banana chopped up in the middle, sprinkled ith wheat germ. Little bit of water, then microwave until steamy. Add a bit of vanilla flavoured skim/soy milk. YUMMMM

i'm a breakfast fanatic as well...my favorites are...
1 cup Smart Start cereal (its bran based instead of flour based and so yummy) w/ 3/4 cup light soy milk- 210 cal
1/2 cup mixed berries with 1 cup oatmeal- 190 cal (depending on the oatmeal and how you cook it)
2 egg whites (17 cal each give or take) omelet with chopped kale mixed in and salsa- less than 100 cal easily
cantaloupe is really really good too...low in cal, high in fiber!

Bread with cheese on top, nuked to melt the cheese.
Bread with spaghetti sauce, olives, and cheese on top, nuked.
Flour tortilla with spaghetti sauce, olives, and cheese, nuked, salsa'd, and rolled (Italian burrito).
There's a theme there, and I know cheese is high calorie. Sigh.
